Damn at those last pages.

Just hate or love it all you want, I got pretty sick of the people whining about "haters" in the TFA thread and I'd hate it to see it again here.

If it deserves praise or hate it will stand on its own.

You do get that you're just another complainer whining about complainers right?

These are basically the complainers we have here:

1. People who complain about movies
2. People who complain about people who complain about movies
3. People who complain about people who like movies (and seriously if you're in this crowd you're pretty much the biggest internet p***y there is)
4. People who complain about those who complain about any of the other complainers

Now, lets be very clear that none of those groups above equate to this:

5. People that for whatever reason don't like a movie and state their reasons why

Everybody gets to do #5 because you can do that without trolling. There are several people who come to mind who are really good at giving negative opinions that aren't about trolling, baiting, or poisoning a discussion where the general consensus might be in opposition to their opinion. JAWS, a-dev, karamazov. Guys like that. Hell I'm pretty sure that JAWS went off for several huge paragraphs in the Hobbit threads as to why he didn't like them (at least at the beginning.) But he wasn't baiting, he wasn't trolling, he never once quoted someone's text who liked the film and tried to pick apart their enthusiasm. He's a good guy.

But trolls REALLY like to pretend that people who like movies want to get rid of guys like JAWS or his posts. Nope. Post your novels about what you didn't like man, always an interesting read.

And you can always tell who the trolls are because they'll constantly change their complaints if they're ever called on them. Here's an example:

"I don't like this character because he cried."

"But other characters you like cried."

"But they had good REASONS."

"Well based on these other films and many real life scenarios featuring such similar events to this movie this character had valid reasons as well."

"Yeah well I don't watch movies for realism, I want to escape."

"Okay so now you don't want any aspect of the real world to ever appear in a movie? Should human beings or colors or any natural law of physics never appear in a movie because they're 'real?'"

"Wow you really love this movie, how pathetic."

And that right there is how there is how a troll makes his case in pretty much any movie thread. Start with a complaint to get your name in the thread, change your complaint to something else if anyone counters it, if you run out of new complaints to make up then go for the personal attack. Lather, rinse, repeat.

And that's the bull**** people have a problem with, not "disagreements" with fine people like my homeys JAWS, a-dev or karamazov. :duff

Gadot has come a long way

I think everyone that posts on Sideshow is a little ***** that has, at one point in their posting career, whined and complained about pointless crap.

I still love all you guys. I remember trolling Gaspar quite a bit about lunch boxes and Man of Steel, but I never hated him and I think he's a pretty cool dude. Rory has said some **** that I don't like, but he's still one of my favorite sideshow members by far. I always read his posts to see what he has to say. There are probably more but off the top of my head, but the four people that have never annoyed me on here is probably a-dev, Jye, Kara and EvilFace. They're what I consider bro tier, even though they're still little ******* for posting on this forum though.

There is something wrong with the language filter, I keep editing my posts but they won't censor certain words. DAVE, FIX THIS ****!

"it's a trap!"

She might be the Michael Keaton of WW's but after BvS and her solo movie I think she'll be an icon that people accept.

WW has already opened up the door for her, she was recently seen auditioning for the Aliens sequel, good for her.

Now that is some genuinely funny *** **** right there. :lol

What's with that kid swimming scene, who's that?

Also the Hateful 8 western scene?

Sorry, were you asking me something? You posted under me, and I didn't see anything else you were referencing.

I guess the conversation has moved on, but I'll say that I think every superhero movie that's coming out this year will be good. Every time I ever posted something negative, it made me realize that the only reason I use my time to do so, is because I actually really like the property, but I'm just having overblown reactions to certain elements I didn't like. I certainly feel stupid for my negativity over some of these films.

With Deapool: I think it'll have great action and a great lead performance by Ryan Renyolds

BvS: Great visuals and action

Civil War: Great action and fun protagonists

X-Men: Great cinematography, some great character pieces, and great performances by James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender at the very least

Suicide Squad: Great cinematography and great character pieces

Dr. Strange: I don't know anything about the film or the character, but it will surely be as good as all the other Marvel origin movies

We're not living in the age of movies like Steel anymore. Times are really, really good!
