Did Spidey generate more buzz?

I think there was just as much for Wonder Woman. To be fair Spider-Man's inclusion had alot more drama around it

I will answer your question when you can answer mine (no one has answered this yet either, open to all).

Why would anybody in their right mind still complain about a movie ten to fifteen years later?

Actually I answered that long ago, I gave you the exact explanation that applies to everyone in fact. I'm sure I'm wasting my time but I will go again.

A) because it's Star Wars and Star Wars is ongoing in the present day and into the future. It is therefore maintained in people's consciousness, both the good stuff and the bad stuff. It shouldn't actually be surprising in the least that on a forum such as this we still talk about the PT. If this were a forum about cars or something I might understand your bewilderment.

B) I'm not a Harry Potter fan, never was. I don't really care about it one way or another - that is key - I don't care about it. So if I happen to see a Harry Potter film that I was bored senseless by I'll say it was boring and I'll move on, never to mention it again. However, going into the PT, I was very much a Star Wars fan. When they were bad I noticed - more importantly I cared that they were bad. And if this leads you to again ask ''but why do you still complain all these years later'' I refer you back to point A. Because it comes up all the time. Why does it come up all the time? Because Star Wars films are still being made. And one person's comments feed another person's comments and so on and so on and so on. The very nature of a discussion forum.

I don't think I can make it clearer than this.

Agreed. Star Wars is still quite relevant, therefore ALL of its films and incarnations are fair game.

And the PT still blows. :lecture

I will go to my grave and never understand why people get so **** up about other peoples opinions on movies.
If you like it, like it, hate it, hate it, just don't tell other people how to think.

:lol

I agree. I can never take it personally. Which is a good thing when it comes to BvS. :lol

Seriously, people will always have completely different sensibilities and opinions, often completely at odds with each other. And that's fine. It is what it is.

Very true but still some movies are so lame you do wonder why some people actually like them......but I love alot of movies most hate- Howard the Duck, Lost in Space, Wild Wild West, Avengers('60's show) etc....

No joke, I have a friend who LOVES Howard The Duck, too (like, not even ironically). He more than just loves it. It's one of his passions. He has a whole collection of stuff, from Trading Card sets to actual screen-used props (including the ****s for the female duck). :lol It's honestly a little disturbing. He's spent tens of thousands of dollars on Howard The Duck movie props. We give him hell all the time, but he is undeterred from his odd devotion to that film. Oh well, to each their own. :huh :lol

WWEjedi does.

I really just don't understand taking it personally. Even people who have personal stakes invested in movies don't take criticisms as personally as some fans do. It's odd.

heres a "exclusive "clip from some tv show recently ,pretty funny

:lol :lol

Also means that Batman was right the whole time!!!

Batman and Robin is canon with Batman v Superman.

"This is why Superman works alone." :panic:

I still don't understand. Do you complain that a girlfriend dumped you ten years ago when you have a loving wife? (girlfriend is PT, wife is TFA). No.
Do you complain about a old car when you have a new one? No. Do you complain about a old job when you have a better one? No.

I am wasting my time doing this again.....

:lol

I don't tell people how to think. I just wonder why they complain for so long about something so insignificant in life. I really am dumbfounded by it.

WWEjedi does. The following quote is very telling

He back-pedalled on it in his next post but...

I don't care if the PT isn't liked, I care that people are being looked down upon for liking a movie and losing credibility. Before you or anyone says "why do you care," because it is the right thing to do. People shouldn't be taken for more or less because of their opinions on movies. That is a major problem on this forum. It happens in every thread and honestly it is quite sad that there are those on this forum that stroke their and their groups ego based on a movie. I don't like BvS. I have every right to go into that thread and say it. I don't hate or make jokes or look down on those who are excited for BvS. They don't lose credibility with me for liking it. I don't throw things in people's face like others do to me in that thread. "Oh you like the PT but hate this.... blah lahblah, hypocrite." Do you know what is very telling? Those that have to make fun of others for liking a movie. It tells me that they are insecure and do it to make themselves feel better. Yet no one says anything about it. It is either chalked up to a joke or just ignored. It is why I truly hate ever going to this section anymore. It won't change either, so I am done.

See ya everybody.

I do. I even go to her house at night and I just hover outside her window for a good ten or twenty minutes, looking at her using my X Ray vision.

That sounds like a deflection!

I think all of us have to be crazy for sticking around here. Some more than others, though.

when someone keeps arguing the same exact point over and over and over (either attacking or defending something) over and over until it just almost becomes an automated response, that's a sign of some autism or personality disorder. Specially when no amount of evidence proves their point wrong, or when they wont listen to reason at all, when they are explained why what they are saying is not true, but they will still argue it weeks after. (that compulsive behavior)
sound like anyone in here?
