"scales?... where we are going we don't need scales..."
:lol

:lol

I don't know, looks like WB was worried for a reason. Maybe they should have concentrated on Batman first, get his story out of the way then bring the two together?

Hence the R cut announcement me thinks.

this was one of the 3 reviews i was waiting for, he IS one of us.....
I trust this one

C+

Not a disaster but messy....

I like him (ewwwww).

Man, you're old.

:monkey3

Not to far from the truth. :lol

Yup. I feel like most folks will walk away from the film liking Batfleck... And not much else. It is a real shame Warner was in such a damn rush to have their brand if Avengers.

Oh... And some perspective-

That DD score says it all...poor Affleck ran as fast as he could from DD trashing the hell out of it right into the arms of Snyder.

Oh well, at least he's not the problem with BvS, nor was he with DD.

Cut out all the "building towards Justice League" stuff and the movie would at least get a little more coherent. It wouldn't save it... But it would get better.

You should do a video review of the movie, James. Is it true that Batman straight up murders people in this movie?

crows it's getting old. Everyone knows your game now. The mods know what you did, it's embarrassing. you must really be scraping the end of the barrel, give up with some dignity for ****s sake. And now of course in a typical and very expected fashion you will attempt to deflect the conversation away from your spamming and redirect it into a personal attack. It's too obvious man find another scapegoat.

This is too funny not to post again..

:wave

when i made that joke in the capt america thread, it took a couple of posts until people realized what the joke was about (you hating on things ) i dont come in here to trash everything the same way you do. (the only thing i have trolled like that is the ghostbusters movie)
what spamming are you talking about? i havent spam in here. (not like you)

Both reviewers said pretty much the same thing.....should their opinions hold true for general viewing audience maybe Snyder will go away. Pretty movies can only go so far..

i dont know what will happen but with two movies being hated, snyder will probably have to do a couple of indies and not do anything big budget. (i do still believe the movie will be big with international markets)

I would imagine the atmosphere in the Justice League production office is quite somber this morning. The European and UK press have absolutely butchered BVS.

A lot of the negativity is aimed directly in Snyders lap. People simply don't like what he is doing with these movies. It's very strange to think he is about to start another 200+ production in the same way.

My buddy and I do a podcast called Action Features. Our episode recording on Thursday will be a BvS review. :)

As for your question... *Spoilers!*

Yeah, he does indeed straight up murder people. And its kind of in your face when he does. He shoots a bunch of dudes in the dream sequence... but he also kills a bunch in the real world too. I know he killed a bunch of Lex's hired goons in the chase for the Kryptonite (at one point dropping a freaking car on some). And then later Snyder apes the DKR "I'll kill them man... Believe me I will"/"I believe you" scene and has Batman basically blow a guy up.

For anybody that ever had an issue with Keaton Bat's willingness to use lethal force (and I will always argue that there was a very good reason why that film needed him to be like that... getting back to his original comic roots), they absolutely cannot defend Snyder's Batman. He has basically Punisher morals in this film.

Across the board Batman/Wayne is very much loved in this movie, at least they didn't mess that up.

Huh, guess my Moon Knight movie came out earlier than I expected...

If anybody else has quick spoilery questions they want answered, let me know. The film is pretty fresh in my brain still. :)
