The fact that you went the bootleg route with one of the biggest cinematic spectacles of all time was a massive disservice to yourself.

Nah, it was a good move. I would have been pissed if I paid NY movie ticket prices for this.

We haven't seen Lois be the "key" yet, I think she's gonna be the key in the future, in a moment that could break Superman and make him go evil.

Also, aren't the comics and the game the same story? I've only read till year 3, I think, and it's the same story... Also, he's not Darkseid goon in Injustice, that's just something that's being thrown around in here.
Hum maybe the whole dream scene with flash was difficult to follow I thought it was referring to his mom how if she indeed was killed and Darkseid shows up he will become evil, although he did say she was my world and you took her from me could be a reference to Louis I guess.

I have not read any injustice comics so I could not tell you . I wish DC would hire some better artists I for one am tired of these artist just doing covers they need to abolish that practice the get a little success and all the end up doing is covers.

Yeah, the question is when does Lois get killed?

Here's how I would do it. Open JLA1 with Superman's resurrection and the beginning of Apokolips' invasion. have Lois die in the second act & in the third act have Supes turn to the Darkseid and attack the JLA alongside the parademons. The movie ends with the JLA losing and going into hiding. In the last shot of the film we see the GL Corps receiving a distress call.

In JLA 2 the GL Corps arrive to help the JLA take back Earth. The JLA, despite the GL Corps' help isn't doing too well once Darkseid steps into the fight. Out of compassion for the heroes who seem hopeless fighting the god, Supes redeems himself by turning on Darkseid and defeating him. He then shakes hands with the JLA and then flies away, exiling himself indefinitely as penance. The end.

I thought so too at some point, but Pa Kent tells Supes how Ma Kent was Pa Kent's reality check, as Lois is to Supes, and then Supes says "you're my world", which he says in the vision "She was my world". So it's most definitely Lois, and it just hasn't happened yet, Flash said he was too early so I'm sure it's Lois and something will happen later.

I know, Injustice art is tie-in-tier, it's just not good, they should get better artists considering it's a pretty successful series.

I have no idea how it could play out, I mean, piss jars? Anything can happen :lol

But we do have a hint that Batman takes Lois away from Superman.... So that's a start.

I was coming back from NYC tonight, went by 2 theaters on the way home, from the highway i could see that one theater parking lot was jam packed with cars and the second one barely had any cars in it at all. Both had BVS playing in it. Strange, expected both to be jam packed.

I'm sure the movie will have a pretty solid opening weekend, wonder if it can cross $200 million, it is a 3 day weekend after all.

Just to clarify, both theaters were in CT.

Well I just got in from seeing this. Pretty much feel the same way as most on here. Batman was surprisingly good and that's about it for me. Amy Adams is terrible imo and she and cavill have zero chemistry. In all fairness she looks old enough to be Martha Kent not Lois. DD was a joke and Luthor was like getting a root canal. I really feel like a 12 yr old wrote the script for a class project. Too many things that didn't need to be in there and any/all momentum was constantly lost. 5.5/10.

That's some Phil Jackson coaching right there :lol Clearly, they didn't show too much chemistry and Batman is not a very good leader, because as the guy with no powers, he should have been quarterbacking that whole fight and having some kind of fight strategy, instead he was....actually, I'm not sure where he was?

I did kind of hate him throwing his most valuable asset down like that. Ideally, I'd have liked to see something like "I'll help you get your mother, but I'm keeping this." Basically letting him know that he's giving him the benefit of the doubt, but, should he ever go rogue, he'll have a contingency in place. Instead, he just chucks it across the room so Superman's girlfriend can abscond with it and hide it somewhere.:lol

That's the logical way of making a simple, but effective story. Now watch WB do that story, but add a subplot involving time travel with Flash, a subplot involving Aquaman fighting terrorists, Batman investigating something, Lex's new evil plan to escape from jail, a Wonder Woman and Batman romance, the introduction of Plastic Man and Hawk Girl and a set up for JL 3 and the Shazam movie :lol

At that moment, Superman is like, "B****, I can take a nuke to the face! I can kill you from a mile away and I know who you are and where you sleep....I'll burn your **** off!" :lol

This.

Yea, someone mentioned Darkseid but it's hard to say for Mr. Green. The painting can't be Lex's super ego but more towards a superior complex or Legion of Doom as in the animations years ago.

Saw it and I loved it. An easy 8 out of 10 for me. I'm a fan of the comics but I can easily disassociate myself from those versions and I can accept this film for what it is.

Batfleck is the standout for me, batman is mean in this movie. Loved this interpretation of Alfred as well, Jeremy Irons did a nice job. Only things I'd have changed is the casting of Lex and I would have ended the film after the BvS faceoff / reconciliation.
I will be going back for a second viewing.

Take this with a grain of salt as I do like the transformers movies.

ewww, Transformers. Lost interest after the first 2. Still, Mr. Green is curious about the dinobots in Age of Extinction.

I liked the movie. It was crammed and lex was a little too crazy. I always thought of lex more like the evil version of bruce wayne. I actually enjoyed afleck as batman and the warehouse fight scene was the best part of the film and maybe any bat film. I think for the average movie person they will enjoy it.

Because at this point, batman realized he was wrong about superman.
Also, In comicbooks, it was superman who gave batman kryptonite in case he ever loses control of himself and trusts batman to take him down.

I'm just saying that this is a guy who takes precautions in case his precautions for his precautions fail. At the same time, though, he's also an emotionally stunted individual who was clearly taken aback in that moment, so, I'll let that slide, in retrospect.:lol
