You know what after seeing this the parallels to people's dislike or acceptance to Henry cavill's superman and Hugh jackman's wolverine is uncanny and both I feel are casted perfectly well to play their respective characters but are held back by writers and creative direction to give us what we want from these characters.

The dirt rising only signified that the same kryptonian laser tech that destroyed Metropolis was being used on the coffin.

Maybe his body was being stolen?

I honestly don't know what that represented.

It didn't show him being back, people are just assuming that.

I really hope that it was Darkseid abducting the body. It would fall in line with stories of the past when he controlled Supes' mind, as well as all the visions in the film that Wayne got. Darkseid had the ability to bring people back from the dead as well. Man I can't wait for the Justice League movie.

Nah just ignore my dumb ass post, Platty accurately pointed out that it was the same inertia seen in MOS for when he takes off.

I don't understand why humans just didn't rocket his ass into the sun in a last ditch effort to bring him back, better than just trying nothing.

Besides, no government would ever bury him, he would be a lab rat!

And I know he wanted to end the film on a *slightly* high note (rising dirt) but isn't that a bit premature? I thought part of the reason for his death was so that Bruce could assemble the team. The ending of BvS seemed to imply that Supes was just moments away from bursting out of that sarcophagus.

I think we should have five or six movies of Shaquille O'Neal and a bunch of Superman clones first.

Cavill looks perfect for the role but his character is too off and his acting is very blegh.
Jackman looks nothing like the character but the writtin' is ok and he acts the part perfectly.
