There never really was an actual 4 hour version of the film. That's just the approximate length of the first compilation/cut before they actually started Editing. It was pruned down to 3 hrs, 24 minutes pretty quickly and after a while down to about 3 hours before cutting another 30+ minutes out for Theatrical release. I do think the 3 hr cut is the one Zack is most happy with. Even he thought the 3:24 cut was too long. The 4 hour one was a non-starter. :lol

Incidentally, the initial compilation cut of THE FORCE AWAKENS was over 3 hours. Hard to imagine almost an hour of that movie was pruned out.

Can't wait for that 3 hour cut. Hopefully it does get a theatrical run.

So I guess we're done actually talking about the movie on here.

Good to know. Moving on...

yeah. the storm is over

Are all the scenes in the same order?
I mean for exemple i found that seeing Lex going to the kryptonian ship arrive really too late.

I could have tolerated that scene with Diana looking at the computer screen if they hadn't put it at that particular moment.

I didn't understand why they would stop the flow form the build up of Superman and Batman finally fighting to cut to Diana checking her email on her lap top. It was a nice scene, but why put it there?

Its there to show that Diana much like Bruce is finding out that there are others like her on Earth. This helps her get over her hundred-year heroics sabbatical.

It would have been funny if while she was reading the email even more mundane computer tasks continued to prevent her from joining the fight. "Metahuman Tracker wants to know your location. Yes/No?" "You can skip Breakfast Buddies ad in 15 seconds..." She's all *click, click* "come on!"

In retrospect, Batman looks like a dope saying "hurr durr I thought she was with you".

You're the one that's been following her around the entire movie there buddy. You even know what she looks like as Wonder Woman thanks to that picture you found surfing Lex Luthor's porn folder.

[emoji38]Basically we all watched the most expensive ad click ever.

Just saw it for the third time today and agree, it gets better each time. Snyder combines artistry with big dumb fun. Affleck is the best Bats yet.

Just bummed more people didn't give it another chance, but I guess if first impressions were that bad they probably wouldn't have liked it any more the second time.

I like it the first time and liked it a little less the second :(

Given WB's love of product placement, they really did miss a great opportunity to get a fat check from Facebook.

To Difabio's point, it stands to reason that the two god-like characters would team up to enslave the earth. And Batman is nothing in this film if not paranoid. Before Batman's Martha epiphany, he probably planned to kill them both.
