I'm very curious as to see how BvS and XMA fare after another viewing or two. I'm thinking the action and the stakes of BvS will keep that one in the lead, but we'll see.

:Goodpost:
Yeah Justice league can still turn things around. It wasn't that negatively reviewed by audiences. I haven't even met one person who disliked it. The worst I've heard is "it was ok, I enjoyed it"

The best moments were very good in BvS

Yes Everyone I know who saw it liked it or loved it- no one canned it. General reaction good but critics buzzsawed it into scaring alot of folks away. No doubt alot disliked it, I know, however bet it will sell alot of BDs in July

I have to say khev I've had a decent year so far with only Deadpool not capturing my superhero heart like I figured it would.

CW was just mind blowing, there was exciting new stuff in there with how the Russo's respected the characters, gave us blistering action with every single one of them and then created a villain who thru expert manipulation and determination was able to grow his personal vandetta into a destructive plan.

BvS was thrilling, there was disturbing new stuff in there with how Luthor formulated a diabolical terrorist attack with the use of his urine to psychologically impair a sitting senator while smirking in the presence of a god, then terrorize this same god with the kidnapping of his mother plus presented a new version of Batman, one who is tormented enough to commit murder by being the most lethal and agile version of this character ever to grace the silver screen.

XMA was fun.

2016 = WIN

You know what? CW was over stuffed like BvS was. The difference is CW was stuffed with gold, and stayed true to the characters

I agree jye. Aside from disappointing Deadpool we've had two entertaining cbms and one true masterpiece of high art cinema to be spoken of in hushed tones along with The Empire Strikes Back, Citizen Kane, Schindler's List, Chinatown, etc.
