Well they made three 1/6 scale and a 1/4 scale of the TDK suit and none of them got the cowl right.

I'm not sure if I pity WW that much when I see a picture like that, as most versions of the batman's and superman's I see there are are cheesy silliness to me.

Honestly, to me Nolan and Snyder's takes are the only ones I can truly take seriously. Most of Superman's are highly dated, and Batman we're just not even gonna talk about. (Deal with it, I'm 24, it's 2014, most of that **** is silly and old. Hell even Batman Begins Batman looks dated to me now.)

I say if they'd made WW before 2008 it would've been terrible I'd wager. And if it had been made since then it probably wouldn't have tied into the new DCCU anyway.

I just think it's lame they're not actively pursuing to make one for her now, or so they said I think. I guess they wanna wait for the response to Gadot, but I'm not sure if I'm glad with that level of cautiousness. If they're truly confident that her version will work, I find it BS that she's not getting her own film planned.

I mean, you can take Nolan's Batman "seriously"? Atleast the Adam West Batman wasn't an unintelligible mouth breather with that horrible voice. He also didn't have a rubber "armor" costume that was two sizes too small.

I'm really curious to see how well the Bale Batman will hold up in 10-15 years.

I like Bale Batman.

What I don't like is the "new is better" mentality. There's merit to be found in those other interpretations, even if they're not "serious". Since when has a little bit of fun or silliness been a bad thing? Why are these future generations so uptight about lightheartedness and humor? It's like if it's not dark, brooding, and cynical it's bad and silly. Sure, half of those takes are garbage, but West and Keaton? They're atleast on par with Bale in terms of the "what I take seriously/what's legit" scale.

And Reeve Superman has been featured in some pretty silly films but he always retained this sense of sincerity in the role that the others lacked. His character and personality alone carried those movies.

the thing that makes me kind of laugh is how bad that red underwear looks lol I know it is classic, but it just looks funny seeing it there
