Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

I hated MoS and I'm not a fan of Goyer's input with DC heroes.

Visually, I got no beef with Snyder. I loved 300 and Watchmen completely. I'm hoping the problem with MoS was just a misunderstanding of the Superman character, and that they do a better job now that Batman is thrown into the mix. I have faith and this new photo of Batman and the Batmobile have made me cautiously optimistic of this next installment. For me, I think there's a possibility to redeem the MoS ****, almost like what was done with the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man. He was terrible and douchey in the first movie, but then by film two, they totally revamped him visually and through his character.

If they refocus Superman, maybe ignore what happened last year, I'm game. So far the Batman part of this project is the most appealing, from Jeremy Irons as Alfred to Bats' suit and car. If Superman and his world sucks again, so be it, hopefully Batman alone delivers.

I watched both Amazing Spider-Man movies last weekend for the first time. It was very intentional having Peter be a bad hero at first. I loved his character arch in the first film as he learned who he was supposed to be.

Having him appear as a fully formed version of what you read in the comics would have been lame and boring.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

I believe Jokes and Bats thoroughly enjoys the Walking Dead.

They once had a Daryl avatar if I remember correctly.

The Walking Dead has ceased to be a *rubs hands together with glee in anticipation* type of thing. Now its just something I watch.

I disagree, being a punk ass, skateboarding hipster ****** has nothing to do with an arc or development. He was a ***** from beginning (imma wear my dads glasses to be ironic/go the **** to bed Aunt May!) to end (yo, I'm breaking the promise of a dying man cause I'm cool and edgy).

I'm glad ASM2 started with a completely new version of him without that ****** suit or a skateboard in sight. He was 10 times better and showed me Garfield truly had the chops.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

What about Reeve? Were all the film copies of the Reeve films stored in the metropolis buildings that got blown to hell in MoS? They still exist don't they?:lol

I was being sarcastic. I enjoyed both Reeve and Cavill in the role. I was just joking about the people that are huge fans of Reeve and got insulted because Cavill tried to do soemthing different.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

I was being sarcastic too. Nothing wrong with TWD (well, plenty now) but I don't go to said thread and just crap all over it.

Them fans are VERY intense. And nuts.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

ASM2 is an excellent example of everything I don't want happening to MoS2.

"Ey cmon, whadda ya doin, I'm tryin ta be Batman over hea for cryin ou-lowd.

Ya fakking cawksucker!:lol

Seriously though, can Ben even speak with any form of low or manipulated voice? Him and his bro have like some of the most recognisable voices in Hollywood to me.

Sorry I have a tendency to miss sarcasm when there's so many people on the internet who actually mean the craziest ****.:lol

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

My only REAL concern is the voice. What are they gonna do with Ben's voice!? He's like the opposite of Conroy.:lol

:lol :lol :lol

Yeah man, if he can't give a decent bat voice then I dunno about this movie or later bat films. And I hated Bales' bat voice ... good god it was horrible.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

I called Kara out on that one time and he simply shrugged it off.

HE JUST SHRUGGED IT OFF.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

I like Bale's voice, in TDK too, probably because I've just become to used to grunting being among other music genres a fan of metal.

I did feel he went overboard in TDKR but that was more the lesser script than anything else to me.

However I'm pretty sure Ben's not gonna grunt so, what IS he gonna do?

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Dunno why they don't just show a voice changer thingy fitted into the cowl.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

@Karamazov80 LOOOOL

Oddly enough this little 'bit of evidence' kevin smith points to is actually somewhat convincing to me, but he can't raise his voice like that:
