Especially after he lost the Presidency and Brainiac.

I think that is true, but at that point he was going off the deep end. That wasn't Luthor in his element, which was him in 95%+ of his animated incarnations, but a desperate Luthor who had started losing his grip on sanity.

I am fully onboard with this. She was awesome in The Wolverine. I hope they do more with Mercy than Superman Returns did.

That's totally an animated version of Billy Zane (in appearance)

Maybe that's who he's playing. They're drawing from the Batman Begins well and having neurotic, hyperactive Eisen-Luthor be actual Rock Luthor's doppelgänger.

She was Mariko Yashida. In the extended cut she is given way more screen time. And is not just a plot device. I liked the moments she had with Logan.

I meant comicbook Luthor in general, look at his ****ing eyebrow...

He accidentally wiped it out and had to re-pencil it without a mirror and that was the result.

By mentioning TAS I meant he is closer to being faithful to the comics than the Smallville one.

He's not super serious, in TAS he has a dashing, snarky and cynic personality.
