I wish there was more Superman TAS in general. I think Lex Luthor and Darkseid were my favorite villains in the entire DCAU. Darkseid isn't the deepest of characters, but Michael Ironside made him my second favorite villain. I loved the way he'd bark out orders! I wished he would have voiced Batman in the Dark Knight Returns adaptation.

I wish there was more Superman TAS in general. I think Lex Luthor and Darkseid were my favorite villains in the entire DCAU. Yeah. Robocop did a decent job but really Ironside should have been it. At least we got that BTAS episode

I was soo exited when I heard there was a new justice league series announced with the same voice actors, only to find out its a new 12min long (timm-less)series

Well, it's good that there's a series that kids can watch while we older folks have the darker/more cynical movies. They're the ones that are going to be supporting the series anyways, so the studio has to cater to them. Heck, Breaking Bad was the first series I ever followed in my life on a weekly basis, and that was in the last couple seasons, so I'm not their audience. I didn't even know about Justice League Unilimited until recently when I saw the DVDs in a bookstore clearance isle. No matter how good the writing is, I won't be able to watch it when it airs, so I don't have any right to complain. Fortunately, I have a lot of good alternatives for superhero content!

Even if a certain interpretation isn't for me, I'm glad there's version of my favorite characters that appeals to everyone because it keeps them alive. Kids that grew up on Brave and the Bold could school me on comic book knowledge because of how deep that series goes into the DC Universe!

True true. I watched it a few times with my little cousin, it's pretty good actually. I hope the new series is good and has a decent art style. That will somewhat clench my thirst. I'm thinking the Timmverse is never coming back, it's quite brilliant. I never watched those cartoons that much when I was a kid. BTAS was too dark for me at the time lol

This was the best cartoon ever IMO. And they want to compete with the Avengers and this is their plan?? These guys are so behind the curve. They didn't even pick up Young Justice again which was also very good. But Teen Titans for 7 year olds is on every time I turn on the tv.

The idea is that it's like an episode but it picks up in the midst of the action. Which I guess makes sense for the YouTube generation. But hey, at least it's got Hamil, Conroy and the likes.

But I agree DC are king of the animated and they've not done much recently, at least to my knowledge.
