Cavill himself proved that it doesn't matter when he wore a Superman t-shirt under a building sized poster of BvS and no one recognized him.

But there were casualties. Only the island Doomsday landed on was uninhabited. Downtown was "mostly" vacant (yeah right) due to the fight taking place "after business hours." Actually it would have been really funny if the paper had the "Superman Dead" and "Daily Planet Loses one of their Own" headlines on the same page with a head shot of Clark and Supes right next to each other.

As silly as the movie was it was kind of cool in Superman IV when he kept appearing as Superman in the penthouse and then disappearing and flying around to the front door as Clark over and over to make that one chick think that both Clark and Supes were in the same place.

Do his clothes actually transform in the Snyderverse? Or is it a real outfit that is separate from his normal clothes? I can't think of any transitionary scenes off the top of my head.
