Yeah. I like raw emotion in music to some extent, but usually its the sonic quality or a melody that first draws me in, then I start looking at the emotion behind it.

Its hard for me to find that hook if its too raw.

I love hearing songs covered by other artists too. I think it really exposes the beauty that lies in the notes outside of the artist who composed the song.
