:lol It's just a question. You did a good job Mr C.

It's very interesting to look at statistics. What they reveal and what they hide. I wonder how much that growth stat changed, due to Dave culling all the inactive members out that time. Now that the stats are out, it could be time for another cull. We don't want to loose the perception that we have the biggest growth do we? :lol

I haven't culled inactive members, I deleted old threads. I seem to remember seeing a number like 60k members at rebelscum at one point.

Take numbers of posts with a big grain of salt. Posts consisting of a single word (Yeah....cool...wow...agree...etc) tend to artificially inflate those numbers, but you cannot automatically assume that all boards have the same percentage of "filler posts". Boards that require larger numbers of posts to allow posting of trade lists, for example, are going to likely have people posting junk just to unlock full forum access.

Perhaps I'm just cynical, but I find it hard to believe someone who posts 30+ things a day on a forum actually has 30+ meaningful things to say.

And this is your first post.

My mind is blown.

Sorry about the misinformation Dave, but the question still remains. Albeit in edited form.

Bigger is better right? This is war? We have to expect some casualties. May as well bury the dead first.

I can think of at least one member on here who joined at least 8 months after me who has a larger post count

with daily posts like

Bump any news

on multiple threads, coupled with

nice stuff, woot, :banana:banana:banana

its hardly surprising though

Two new boards added!

SIDESHOW FREAKS IN THE LEAD!!1 (in the poll)

But it looks like Rebelscum has picked this up, how long will the Freak's reign last!? Vote now!

Btw, any leads on RS's numbers? Or anyone know who the admin of OSW is? I actually have an old account on RS, but logging in didn't give me a better read of the stats whatsoever.

I call dibs on the trident!!!!!!

Freaks gets my vote BTW

imo growth is the most important stat

Very desirable stat.

Will be interesting to see where Freaks is in a year. Most likely will overtake Statue Forum methinks.

one of the funniest parts in that movie imo.

I have been on a lot of boards, but the freaks board is my personal favorite..HISSTANK.com is a close second.
