I assume you are asking about "Growth"

That is figured comparing the stats from the last "BTOB" two years ago.

To put it plainly, it's "Growth in the last 2 years", however that's a bit long to put in the table.

If a board existed for longer than another one, wouldn't some of the numbers and averages be naturally higher?

You might actually expect a negative relationship between the length of time that a board existed and percentage growth. It is easier to grow, percentage-wise, the lower your initial number. Plus, when a board is first created, a bunch of people may join up immediately, leading to a spike in membership that you wouldn't expect from a board that had been around ages. However, there are also potential familiarity and "bandwagon" effects, where higher membership and duration of existence leads to more members joining, which could balance this out a bit.

You would of course expect the number of posts and members to be positively correlated with length of board existence, though, holding all other factors constant. Not to get too geeky about it, but if you really wanted to compare sites in a scientific way, you would probably want to add some control variables that you guys have talked about, like duration of board existence, narrowness or broadness of the board's focus, degree of board cleanup (member and thread removal), etc., and run a regression analysis.

Jesus I apologize about posting this one. BUT, gotta do something to avoid work. . .

It depends on how each individual board does, really. There could of course be a whole slew of stats relating to how long the board's been active.

I included "Year Started" on the previous "BOTB" but I thought growth was much more interesting, and relevant on a more recent level.
