Hehe,that figures. Tons of people in certain regions (including myself) had a had a hard time getting into games for the first couple weeks. When we did, we'd often have severe lag issues and disconnects. Consider yourselves lucky.

Yeah there was a stretch there that the servers were terribly bad for me. But they fixed it soon after. I loved BFBC2, one of my favorites. Can't wait for BF3 to drop. BF is my video game crack. There's nothing like throwing some c4 on an enemy helicopter and blowing it up mid flight.

Regarding BC2, I have big problems accessing the f'ing servers. Simply put, I can't play online at all with it, even after tinkering with router settings like port forwarding and other such dogkrap. From what I've seen on BC2 forums, it's quite a widespread problem. I really hope the programming is better in BF3. I'm a huge fan of BF1942 and BF2, so I have my copy preordered.

Yeah, it seems to e region based. I'm no tech guy, so I won't pretend to understand it. The main issue here is that these problems with their servers have been going on for years and they still havent fixed them. I don't get it. I still believe that dedicated servers are the better option for online play, but only if they work properly heh.

PS3 Gameplay, graphics still look top notch on consoles.

I love that video. I found BC2 multiplayer to get boring after a while. The menu systems arent great and I dont like how on some maps, enemy blends into the background. Hopefully BF3 will have sharper colours and visuals so its easier to make out an enemy from the background

Spawn trappin (at least on the consoles) is the one and only thing I don't like on BC2.

Aww man, i was hoping for my 2 favorite shotguns from bc2 to return... The Spas and the other one not included.

Not too happy about the amount of guns from BC2 coming over, mainly the Pistols, Shotguns and Assault rifles look the same with some additions and removals.

Yeah, an unfortunate inevitability with new games and DVD I think. I'm just hoping it's single player on one, multiplayer on the other. If that's the case, it's no biggie.

My guess is if they split the SP between two discs you'll be able to get to the MP on both. Which is fine because I'm really more buying this for the MP.

SP will = 0.0005% of my play time

MP will = 99.99999999.05% of my play time

Same here. Took me forever to finish BC2 story mode. It was fun but I was way too much into playing MP with some of my buddies.
