How many players on the PS3? I'm not following all of the details too closely. I just know I'm going to buy it when it comes out.

Same as 360, 24 players. I also wish they could do 32. 64 always sonds nice but in my experience those matches tend to turn into one big mess, getting ganked every 2 seconds after you spawn. That's why on all the previous pc BF's I stuck with 32 player servers.

The marketing for this game has been awesome.

The scene with him running with the shotgun reminded me of The Expendables :lol

This game, like everything else I have on order, can't come fast enough.

I'm really looking forward to BF3, I love the mp in BC2 and this one seems to be setting the bar even higher.

Cripes! Theres a ton of new stuff in this game. Can't wait to figure all this stuff out when it launches.

There is one dark cloud hanging over the release of Battlefield and I cringe when I think of it. EAs servers. They are notoriously bad and EA doesn't seem to care. Every single major launch is a disaster because of those damned servers and it never changes. I always think that maybe, just maybe this time will be different and they'll be ready for once, but it doesn't happen.

With BC2 they said they weren't expecting so much traffic. What? It's one of the biggest online game youve released in years and you're surprised that a lot of people are trying to play it online on launch week?

They had the same story when Medal of Honor launched. The game came out and amazingly, a lot of people who bought it were trying to play it.:slap

The past doesn't bode well for the future. I want this game bad enough to still keep some optimism, but I'm afraid well see history repeating itself....again.

I only bought BC2 last winter, they must have worked out the kinks cause it works fine for me. Are you talking about PC or console?

Yeah, really was good to go from the start. Did have a couple issues with EA servers but not many.
