First impressions of the campagin.

I like being able to designate and spot targets
Couldn't care less abuot the characters.
Would've oreferred standard campaign rather than the campaign/arcade/offline multiplayer system they have now.
Liking the motion sensor options.

Hate how with all the control options the spot function is unmovable.

They should've made the spotting as a swipe of the touchpad (PS4) it's be so much simpler and accesible with either thumb

Wish we could get rid of the little hud thing in the bottom middle that shows the equipment/firing mode/light. It's pointless since we know what we have selected already

Dude, I did training mode. They have all the vehicles and some of the sniper rifles laid out for you to play with. Fun stuff if you wanna learn how to use the chopper. I recommend.

I generally stick with MMORPG's, but I wanted to try this out and wow, I suck. I haven't played an official FPS in a very, very long time. Probably about 3-4 years. But damn, I suck.

This is how my normal multiplayer game play goes down:

I spawn, see a target, unload an entire round on him, he runs off unscathed, then I get one-shot by some random person two feet behind me.

I was so excited when I finally found out how to get a jet, but then I immediately flew it in the water and blew up. :slap

Being a noob is not fun.

I played so much Vietnam and BF2 it inspired me to get a helicopter pilot's license irl. Who says video games aren't productive? :lol

Battlefield 4 has been plagued by issues ever since launch. Things are a bit better now, and DICE is still working to sort things out. But this has always been the case with the Battlefield series, as it’s such a complex game that it’s impossible to test everything.

Despite this, EA acknowledges that they have to do a better job at bug-testing their games. EA Studios EVP Patrick Soderlund recently spoke to The Guardian, where he addressed the problems Battlefield 4 has been facing.

Soderlund summed it up like this:

“So should players be patient and allow us to update games when they come out? Yes. Should players expect base functionality for something they’ve purchased? Absolutely.

I think if there are two people screaming at you out of a thousand, you can ask for patience, but if there are 500 out of 1,000, you’ve got to change something, right? You’ve got a problem.”

He added that DICE has gotten better at catching bugs and fixing them, and that they are working round the clock to fix the game. But he also said that because of the sheer complexity of a game like Battlefield 4, it will probably never be “perfect”.

i'm done with this game. can't deal with how terrible the online is.

my favorite issues lately have been it taking 3 point blank shotgun blasts to kill someone, when i die in 2 bullets and my soldier not being able to hop over a 6" obstruction.

Never has an issue with obstructions but I feel your pain about the 2 bullets.

They definitely need to put out a balancing patch. I had it happen a lot tonight where I threw half a mag into guys before they dropped. Guys have turned into bullet sponges and I don't remember that from BF 3. This isn't to say I'm getting my *** kicked. I've had a couple of bad rounds and really good ones but mostly 1:1ish. I also wish they'd bring out a patch already to fix the issues from launch. I still cannot join a conquest server.

Also Apparantly teamwork is almost completely lost on people. Ammo, health and defibs seem almost like a hinderence to everyone. I'm contemplating ditching my defibs in favour of something else since no one wants to play ball.

Levelled up a crapload this weekend though so that was nice.

Two things that bother me about this game...first is that you have to be a head hunter, otherwise they kill you first. To the body almost does nothing in a straight on firefight. Second, as with BF3, it seems as if the better gun always wins despite you shooting first or whatever.

Soooo, what does everyone think of the sand storm in the updated Gulf of Oman. :lol

It's out ? I didn't see it! :panic:

I played so much COD 2 on PC I bought a M1 Garand.

I played so much Super Mario Bros that I bought magic mushrooms...oh wait...

Finished the single player campaign last night...holy hell what a horrible way to end a great game. I initially thought my game glitched so I reloaded the last mission and played through it again, only to confirm that was really the ending. :slap

Worst ending to a game I've played in a long time. :monkey2

I didn't expect much from the campaign to be honest. Overall, it was fun. And I played it cause I never finished BF3's campaign.
