just tried out bf4 on the xbone.. wow the clarity! its going to be alot of fun playing this..

the upgrade process went off without a hitch.. unsure if ill still get access to my china rising 360 content when it becomes available. The FPS really adds.

Its fun seeing the differences that were scaled back or removed for the 360 version.

Ive had problems when I get in a panic and I try to jump or move out of the way while shooting. On the 360 controller this would lead me to doing a knife strike.. interrupting my gun fire..

long story short, the new controller prevents this!

Black Friday + a nice little trick will get you BF4 for just $20 bucks.

NOVEMBER 28TH, 2013 IN NEWS

Black Friday is the American tradition where mindless hordes of people invade stores to save money on stuff they wouldn’t buy in the first place.

Luckily, online stores are having deals as well. One of them is EA’s Origin, where you can purchase Battlefield 4 right now for half price: $30.

But we’ll teach you a little trick on how to get an extra $10 off your purchase.

In order to generate the $10 off coupon, go to this page, which is an EA promo from Dr. Pepper. They’ll ask you for a code to generate your coupon. Put in one of these codes:

413M4D, 4712M9, 4912HA, 48VU64, 4979P3, 497D79, 7K1349, 7L1434, 39458M, 3989XK, 316X7D, 551BM9, 56411M, QD7281, 545Q54, 555P6R

(You can find more of these codes at the back of any McDonald’s receipt across the US for a limited time)

Put in an random email address and your birth date. Then click Submit and receive your coupon code. You can also use this trick to get $10 off of Premium. Please note that only one code can be used per transaction, and it applies only to orders over $30.

Now go to Origin and add Battlefield 4 to your cart, which currently retails at $29.99. Then add the coupon/promo code, click Apply. Now the price comes down to $19.99. Checkout and you’re done!

Now enjoy your copy of Battlefield 4 for 1/3 of the price. Happy Thanksgiving!

A number of Xbox One users have had issues downloading the Xbox One-exclusive Battlefield 4: Second Assault DLC, and EA and Microsoft are currently investigating the matter.

It seems that players have been unable to download the DLC - a timed exclusive for the console - after buying the DLC subscription package Battlefield Premium. Many took to Battlelog to voice their complaints, and EA representative 'EA_Rick' subsequently made an official response on the Battlefield social platform.

"I know some of you have said already that it is being looked into but I wanted to just confirm it for you so you guys have a blue post to refer to. Right now all I can say is that we are aware of this issue and are currently investigating this with Microsoft. Once we have some more details I'll be sure to let you know."

Have you had problems downloading the DLC onto your Xbox One? Let us know in the comments.

Wow they can't get anything right. It's not like this is their first game either. No excuse.

True. In their defense, it could be a case of EA pushing the game out before it was ready. Dice usually gets more time for Battlefield, but EA likes money too much to wait for them to make a finished product. Push it out and patch it later.

:goodpost:

I think Sim city was also a victim of this EA greediness.

Is anyone using windows 8? I just read that it's optimized for that OS cause it fully utilizes DirectX 11.1 whereas windows 7 will only use portions of it. Lemme know guys.

Anyone on xbone having multiplayer issues where you can only play TdM .. I choose conquest but only get TdM

This would be cool if the $10 off coupon was actually obtainable. I don't want a damn Dr. Pepper T-shirt. :dunno

I just installed Windows 8.1 last week end and gained a lot of fps. I used to have major frame drops (60 down to 40 fps) and now I'm stable at a capped 60 fps. I even raised my graphic settings.

my specs are i5 2500k and gtx 670.
I'm playing on high but with ultra textures and msaax2.

Yeah, I think I might have to go do that.
