you know what's really funny... talking tongue in cheek... during the campaign, they make several references that make fun of MW2. such as "sissy snow mobiles". there are several.

Iv'e done the same as well. Stabbed a sniper in the back of the head only for him to turn round and change from rifle to knife and stab me.
On the other hand I have also spotted two snipers crouching together and taken both out in quick succession with knife only for two other guys to appear right in front of me as another two easy knife kills so can't complain.

i think this has to do with the fact that the helmets in BC2 are actually helmets. i've used the pistol a lot in this game, and if you hit them in the head from a far distance with the pistol, it will only dent the helmet. so maybe it's the same with the knife, scraping off the metal.

Ok, getting this game tonight. Was gonna rent it, but I've decided to trade in L4D2 and take advantage of the 50% more deal at Gamestop.

I'm sure it picks up. I wasn't blown away by MW 2 story either though. I get those to MDK my friends.

I picked this game up on Saturday, I must say I'm realy enjoying
the campaign. Sound effects, graphics and game play are all very
well done. When I have completed the campaign I will be heading

For multiplayer, I find myself only playing rush matches. I didn't really like conquest mode and I haven't tried deathmatch.
Here are my big rush tactics.
1) Every time the bases move, I switch to the engineer and place 6 AT mines on vehicles paths. 2 mines per path will take out any vehicle. As they blow vehicles I replace them. You can have at most 6 AT mines out and they don't disappear when you die or switch classes.
2) The tracer gun is your friend. Fire it on enemy vehicles. Take the RPG or C Gustav, zoom in, and after a while numbers will appear under the red box. You are locked on so fire away. This works well on enemy helicopters and UAVs (not really as necessary to lock onto land vehicles). Admittedly, getting the tracer on a flying vehicle, especially the UAV, is tricky.
3) It's good to note which mcoms can be destroyed by destroying the building that houses them. If you're recon, just mortar the building a bunch of times to bring it down. You can also use the grenade launcher, c4, or vehicles. You can kill enemies and teammates when the building collapses.
4) Resupplying, heal/reviving, repairing, and using motion mines will net you quite a number of points so be sure to use them.
Anybody have some good tactics that I can try out?

Just started playing this game on Friday and I have to say, its much different than MW2, and by different I mean better! I played Rush a few times, but I've mainly been playing the TDM. I feel like TDM is a good way to "warm" up to the game. Once I get a little better, I plan to tackle the other game modes again. If anyone wants to play, my 360 GT is CHEFBOYARBEE

I was to embarrased to show this one because my win/loss record is horrible. I seem to always get on the worst team in TDM. I need to try some of the other games to get my record up.

Our groups go inbetween hardcore conquest and rush. Hardcore is the better mode IMHO...it takes some games to get used to but once you do you'll be much happier.
