Sorry but this game is not as good as mw2. Having played the demo, i was a little disappointed with the graphics as the vids on ign looked superb.
The controls like all battlefields are never as sharpe and responsive as the cod games and although the core gameplay is very good, i feel the controls let it down. Dont get me wrong, i always buy the battlefields as they are very good games but for me cod still pips it. The fact so many people have spent hours upon hours prestiging tells its own story. Iv not presiged yet and have come off this for a while to play bioshock 2 and mass effect2 just so it gives me a break and to keep the game ticking over through the year.
Will get back on this when the map pack comes out hopefully march.
Just my opinion tho.

It's fine to think that way, but Angry Ewok summed up exactly why MW2 has been a disappointment.
I still find going back on COD 4 more enjoyable than MW2.

MW2 = Lamesauce. Thats what the game devs get for being cocky and not putting out a public beta. That was their downfall. Losers.

BF2 = A different kind of experience, but unlike MW at least its a fun one.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 To Get Two New Multiplayer Maps On Launch Day

EA has announced that there will be a pair of massive, all-new multiplayer maps available for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to download from launch day.

The map pack containing the Laguna Alta map for Conquest mode and the Nelson Bay map for Bad Company 2's Rush game type, will take the map count up to ten when the game launches on March 2nd in North America and March 5th in Europe.

DICE is promising an additional two multiplayer maps later this March, adding the Arica Harbour map to Conquest and the Laguna Presa map to Rush.

The map packs will be available as free downloads when you enter the VIP code found in copies of the game bought as new a la Mass Effect 2's Cerberus Network code.

I went for Xbox for this game.
Although I could not get on the EA server today with my Xbox.
I have played the Demo on my PS3 too, but PSN players are too quite for my liking on a game like this.

I've played every BF ever released for PC. It's such an awesome franchise, some of my best online memories. The planes in 1942, the helicopters in Vietnam were why I got my pilots license, BF2, and the mechs in 2142 were alot of fun. Can't wait to pick this up later tonite.
