I really hope this is a cross between cod and battlefield....COD AW is broken on PC and I need that mindless action for the short periods of time I have fix.

It's battlefield with cops and robbers. CoD is much more fast paced than this. But I'd take battlefield over CoD any day of the year. I enjoyed the beta and PO'd this last week. I'm shaking my head at the 720p though.

I never played the beta. does this look better than bf4 ? man these resolutions do suck. This is over a year after launch and we still cant get 1080p/60f

I just hope the PC version is not unplayable at launch.

Well, it was just the beta but if you're expecting night and day differences visuals wise between BF4 and Hardline, you're gonna have a bad time. There were a few small improvements but overall it seemed like a reskinned BF4. I had fun though but I don't think you'll be seeing any ridiculous graphics on these games for a few years at the rate they're going. Especially if they can't max the hell out of the console versions.

The SUV's with mini gun turrets were pretty wicked though.

From what I have heard , Its not that the consoles cant handle the res, its more the devs being lazy and porting the old version for hardline without optimising it. Still sucks tho.

I'm sure it is the simpler option and the consoles simply can't hack it. Otherwise all games would be 1080p and 60hz and there would never need to be any mention of it, it would be a given. Have to say, as many faults as BF4 has, playing it on a 144hz monitor with everything on max is a pretty cool experience. Although spotting bad guys is still a problem at times. I often die only to realise the guy was right ion front of me and I simply hadn't seen him. That is my biggest gripe with BF4 actually.

They specifically delayed this to be sure they don't **** up the servers. I think it should be good at launch, as for dedicated, they may do what BF3 did and you can pay to do so.

I am pissed about the graphics, but this is a Visceral game, I don't think EA and DICE would fully commit to this. My guess is they are at work for Battlefront III (which better ****ing have 1080) and we will probably get a maxed BF5.


The game is fun, but really they need to do much better, I also think though its because of what scares them for sales. Look at Forza 5, gorgeous as ****, and now we got 6 coming this year, and unfortunately it wont have a difference in graphics. Oh well. Either way I'll have this and Borderlands to hold me til Witcher III.

I just saw a video. There's a hidden vehicle that doesn't show up on the map and spawns randomly. It's a couch. You can drive said couch with 3 other people and when you run someone over, It says they were killed by MERICA.

Are the battlepacks and extras worth it on the deluxe version? Wasn't sure if the weapons are only available through these battlepacks.

I will be. Anyone thinking of getting this for xbox one, here's a cool little tip. Turn ur machine on, go to settings and change your location to hungry. Restart your machine and go into the store. You will see hardline for 11990 ft which converts to £28.28 approx. What you will need to do is assign your card for payment. Now here's the slight fiddly part. You need to change your postcode to a hungry code ( just google one ) Im sure you can keep your address but the postcode has to change. Then you should be able to download and good to go.

If your like me and play battlefield all year round and wouldnt mind the digital copy, this is for you

yeah i don't pay full price for hardly any games (still waiting on Dragon Age to come down a bit) but I play the heck out of my fps multiplayer so it's worth it to me.....think I'll just get the regular version since I can't tell if the battlepacks are exclusive to the deluxe....it seems you can get them in game with in game money too and it's only $49.99 for the regular PC version on GMG and that's worth it to me. Since COD on PC is broken (although this last patch seems to help it a good bit...ironic the seemingly good patch came out at the time that Hardline is being released) I need my fps fix.

I've never played Battlefield before. Might try this, though. Heard the storyline compared to Justified, which is among my favorite shows on TV at the moment. I'm more of a single-player guy than multiplayer, which is why I've never gotten into Battlefield before. If the single player is any good, this might be the first.

SnakeDoc. You could consider BF4 still, it is dirt cheap now and still has a huge community which isn't likely to change with the release of Hardline, I'll certainly be sticking with it. Frankly the game was broken on release and that rep stuck with it and puts people off of it to this day. In reality it has had constant updates and has become a very good game indeed. The campaign is nothing to remember but it is there, and if you get into the multiplayer you'll be happy with it I'm sure.

All of that said, if you only want a decent single player campaign, I would highly recommend Battlefield: Bad Company 2, it is excellent! Best BF single player by a long way.

YEa bf4 is playing pretty awesome now. Forget the single player and just have fun with the multi

I'll be picking this up tomorrow as well. I had fun in the beta and it was a nice very slight change.

Also it's true, you can now spend your ingame money on battlepacks instead of weapons and attachments if you prefer.

I like the release being at the same time in the US....comes out at midnight Eastern so I get it at 11 my time and I guess West Coast gets it at 9 pm their time.

I'll be passing on this one. BF4 was a broken mess that never should've been released in it's state. It killed my interest in the franchise.
