Seeing those pics, I want to see a gag where a villain raises his arms, but blocks their vision because their outfit is too elaborate.

Damn this guy looks good....

But just something I really have no place for. And I'm trying not to dive that far into the comic line. Just planning to stick with a handful of my favorite heroes... A slippery slope for sure.
This does look good. Such a classic look. The red circle effect is a miss though,IMO.

i hate to say it but the more i see this thing the more i start to dislike it. it looks cartoonish, almost like one of those stylized soft vinyl figs.

It is hilarious to me that a massive distributor for a high end poseable figure brand shows their products like this.

It's wild that sideshow can't spend the money to either A) fly out a HT representative who knows what they're doing or B) more affordably, just invite one of the community posters with a reputation for phenomenal posing.

I bet option B would cost them plane tickets, two hotel nights, and some food at most. Plus they'd get some brownie points with the community. And their **** would look bitchin' on display.

I've been out of the Marvel Hot Toys game since I got End Game Thanos, as I genuinely became disenfranchised with the MCU direction. But this, it looks incredible! I'm going to bet that whatever MCU version Doom they make, it will not look as good as this thing does (I will be first to quote myself if Marvel prove me wrong lol). The touches of realism are enough to make this work on my HT MCU villains shelf with Thanos, Ultron, Red Skull, Loki and The Mandarin. So yeah, ordered :panic:

I really was hoping - and still hope - that the MCU Doom is good. But I have my skepticisms, especially with reports that RDJ is "writing backstory" and "coming up with costume ideas".

We already have a perfect backstory and costume. It's the comics. And this figure is basically the comic version most people love. I consider having this option a major win.

The last time Sideshow collaborated with a "community" member, people's lives were destroyed, FB communities fought and everyone got to see how extremely toxic non talented scammers were 🙂

Everyone in Sideshows videos looks robotic and uncomfortable, they youtube face, they speak as if reading off cue cards, it's all so off putting. But it's no different then watching a great number of youtubers and reviewers, communication and speech courses are free, stop supporting mediocrity.

That's my rant for the day, thanks for listening. 🫣
