Okay here's my attempt at a chronology of advents, I needed to do this to get my head around the back story.

  • Kobol creates the first Skin Job Cylons, these procreate through resurrection.

  • Who on Kobol created the first Skin Jobs? Centurions or humans?
[*]These Skin Jobs leave Kobol as the Thirteenth Colony and settle Earth.
[*]Soon the Skin Jobs can procreate through sex, they stop resurrection.
The way I heard it they didn't have resurrection on Earth until Ellen invented it to get away from the Centurions?
[*]Years later, the Centurions on Earth rebel against the Skin Jobs and start a war.
[*]Five of these Skin Jobs bring back resurrection tech but only for themselves.
[*]The Thirteenth Colony is wiped out by nuclear war, Five of these Skin Jobs download on a Resurrection ship in orbit and escape annihilation, these are the Final Five.
They were the researchers working on resurrection (and what else?) so it would make sense they are the only ones to escape.
[*]The Final Five leave Earth to warn the other 12 Colonies about the dangers of the Centurions, this trip takes a thousand years.

[*]By the time the Final Five arrive, War has already broken out, this is the first Cylon War.
[*]In that thousand years, the Centurions have founded a religion worshiping one God.
[*]The Centurions are also trying to create their own Skin Jobs but these are flawed, they won't stay alive for long.
[*]The Final Five negotiate a truce, they give the Centurions Skin Jobs of their own, and give them resurrection tech if they stop the war.
    [*]The first Cylon War ceases.

[*]Between the first and second Cylon Wars is forty years.
[*]The new Skin Jobs are the Eight designed by the Final Five.
[*]Resurrection tech revives all Skin Jobs, the Final Five as well as the New Eight.
[*]One of the new Skin Jobs, John (#1) hates being limited in his human form, and seeks to take revenge on the Final Five for creating him.
[*]John is also jealous and hates one of his siblings, Daniel (#7) because Ellen (one of the Five) is very close to him.
[*]John poisons the amniotic fluid being used to mature the Daniel copies and corrupts Daniel's genetic code to stop Daniel from resurrecting.
[*]John Resurrects the Final Five, these Final Five have their old memories wiped out so they're clean slates.
[*]He seeds these Five in the Colonies so that they witness to what John hates so much about humanity.
[*]John plans to wipe out humanity and the Final Five so that the Five can resurrect and he can gloat over them when they return, they will also regain their memories.

[*]The Cylons start the second Cylon War, the Twelve Colonies are wiped out.
[*]The Final Five manage to survive this holocaust in the fleet, and don't resurrect.
[*]The Cylons seek to whip out the remaining Humans and the Final Five.
[*]The rest is what is shown in the series.

Who on Kobol created the first Skin Jobs? Centurions or humans?
Unknown, it's said that the tribes originated from Kobol and the Cylon (the first skin Jobs) thirteenth tribe left to settle Earth. If Cylon Skin Jobs are artificial, then someone on Kobal had to create them. Probably not Centurions since they didn't know how to make them during the first Cylon War, that leaves Humans or maybe some other type of alien creature. If they're not artificially created, then they were humans that changed themselves to become Cylons.
The way I heard it they didn't have resurrection on Earth until Ellen invented it to get away from the Centurions?
The Final Five Reinvented it. It was a technology of the Thirteenth Tribe while they lived on Kobol.
They were the researchers working on resurrection (and what else?) so it would make sense they are the only ones to escape.
Yep.

Good timeline man, and it seems pretty correct to me.

My theory on Daniel is that he is Starbuck's father... Maybe during the infiltration, one of them went AWOL like Athena did and had a child with a human. The only major hole in that theory is the fact that she died and came back... and found her body too... so it really puts that whole idea into limbo.. I don't know what to think.

But I am excited about what is happening, it's really getting interesting now. Last episode was so damn full of information I felt like my head was going to explode. :lol

And off topic, but I just learned that James Callis and Tricia Helfer will be at Mega Con in Orlando in a few weeks... :google

Now I HAVE to go!! I have no choice! :D

what day are you planning on going??? i was asking the GF if she had any interest in checking this out or not. now that 6 is gonna be there this is a definite green light for me.:D

There's something that didn't sit well with me from this season's first episodes, if Earth was all Cylon Skin Jobs that can't have babies who were annihilated in the future, then what happened to all of us humans living now in the real world?
The last episode answered that, nothing, we were never really humans to begin with.
We were all once Cylon Skin Jobs that lost resurrection tech in favor of sexual reproduction.
We are all Cylons! :banana
So what makes us different from the humans in the fleet? :dunno

I have no clue who Daniel is, but I suspect Starbuck because of her artistic abilities.

Some people will find anything to complain about... its what scientist call an "arum charitus Quartum Bakus personalitus"

I thought that was kind of weird that they didn't have an overall plan for the storyline. They decided to end the series a long time ago-I would have thought they'd have a plan laid out.

It's still really good though.

I just read that the series finale will be 3 hours long.

https://www.syfyportal.com/news426076.html

The first hour-long part will air in its normal timeslot of March 13 at 10 p.m. ET on SciFi Channel, followed by a two-parter March 20 beginning at an earlier 9 p.m. to account for the two hours. For fans who don't want to wait between episodes, SciFi Channel plans to re-air the March 13 episode at 8 p.m. ET on March 20, allowing those who want to watch it straight through to do just that, a SciFi Channel spokeswoman tells SyFy Portal.

Sounds awesome, can't wait.

Just saw this, so
Zak Adama
will make an appearance in the last 3 episodes....interesting

Just found this, want to see if it will paste in here

Baltar makes better sense as a Daniel imo.
Katie Sackoff has said they really dont explain her characters origins or motives by the end.
I bet the series will end with Adm Adamas death and Rosalynn living.
Better pathos.(Which still fulfills prophecy.)
Anyone else notice how much pillpopping and booze Adama is knocking back lately?
