By the time Bayonetta 2 will be out plenty of people will have a Wii U. Just because you and people here don't really doesn't mean much of anything. Console launches are always slow as usual with Nintendo titles they just have to throw out a few AAA titles and it'll be big sellers. The new Smash Bros has already created a ton of hype based on a single trailer. That game will probably be the biggest console seller to ever come out.

bayonetta and mgrr are the only games ive completed that i really wanted to smash my controller to bits. bayonetta especially, but so addicting. great stuff indeed.

Bayonetta is one of only a handful of games that I rate 10/10 as I'm very hard to please with video games. I am loving what I see of Bayonetta 2 so far but it's a lot to ask of a person to expect them to buy a brand new console just for 1 game.
Like others have said, I'm gutted about it being a Wii U exclusive. Bayonetta sold over 1,500,000 copies worldwide so I'm sceptical about what Platinum are saying about neither Microsoft nor Sony wanting any part of the sequel. I'm guessing that Platinum just went for the quick buck with money from Nintendo for the exclusive rights whilst completely missing the bigger picture regarding the eventual sales of the game.
Of course, no one could've predicted just how big a flop the Wii U would end up being so it appears that this lack of foresight will come back to bite Platinum Games on the

I'm mad. Vanquish is awesome too. Love both. I was hoping for a sequal. Its weird that it did so bad and pak made figures for it. I wish I never sold them and the bayonetta ones. Worst mistake.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Vanquish too. I cannot even begin to comprehend why Vanquish sold so poorly not just here in the West but also over in Japan. A game of such sky high quality being completely overlooked by an overwhelming majority of gamers just boggles the mind.
It was our loss as well as theirs as we may never see another one.

Such a shame that this is being released for the Wii U when the core fanbase of this game is on PlayStation and X-Box.

When you consider that it wouldn't exist at all if it wasn't on the WiiU, I don't think it's a shame.

Played the demo yesterday. Really good game.
Looks unbelievable but i will never in my lifetime ever own a wii u. Such a disappointment because i absolutely loved the first game.
