Anyone else think this season has been horrible?

I cant say its horrible, but I do agree somewhat. I mean Ive watched Big Brother since it started and have never missed a season...for once this is the first time I have missed a few episodes and havent even cared that much for the people on the show. I cant pin point it, but
this cast just hasnt held my interest as much as other BB casts have.
Still watching regardless and look forward to the next season.

For right now, please bring on the Britney action.

I have been more of a casual observer of BB over the years. What has been off putting has been the casting of annoying muscle heads, jocks, and strippers and see what happens. I wish they could vote off Julie Chen, but since her husband runs the network that will never happen.

No worse than usual ... but I'm probably not the intended target of that question. Haha.

My wife likes it, I like my wife ... and I've recently discovered that, with training, it is possible to tolerate an hour of this show without strangling yourself. I figure if I ever get captured by Al Qaida and tortured, I'll be prepared.

The one thing I noticed about this season's cast: ALL young people. Maybe that's what turned me off. Felt like The Real World instead of BB.

I figure if I ever get captured by Al Qaida and tortured, I'll be prepared.

I used to feel the same way about it. I tried watching it and didn't care about it. I didn't start really watching it until Season 5 and like you, it was with my wife.

Isn't it amazing what we'll do when the busty brunette across the couch bats her eyelashes (though it certainly helps convince me if she does more than simply bat her eyelashes)?

At least its in the summer, so it doesn't conflict with anything particularly worthwhile. She tolerates my Mythbusters and various spy shows (24, The Unit, Burn Notice, etc.) plus football all weekend during the fall ... so I sit through Big Brother, Idol, Biggest Loser and Glee. It wouldn't be near as bad if it weren't three bloody hours a week. Glee is more suicide-inducing in short bursts -- but at least its over after a single excruciating hour. BB seems like its on everynight.

Idol and Loser are actually not terrible, so I don't object much to them. BB and Glee are the two that I would definitely object to if I didn't like my wife as much as I do.

Right now Ragan, Brit and Hayden are chiding down on Hayden's HOH food basket in the living room.... Lane is just chilling there. No idea who's HOH. Enzo maybe? I think he's in the DR?

As soon as Brit and Ragan left the room Lane and Hayden got all excited and gave each other props saying they were final 3.... so one of the BG won it. But they've said Enzo is still in the DR because he's so mad....

The way I see it, Britney's gone next week unless she wins HOH tonight. And that's when I'll stop watching. After she leaves I really couldn't care less who wins this thing.
