I think he can only use the DPOV on one person. It isnt coup de tat it is more like a get out of jail free card along with throwing someone else up. I just hope Hayden and Enzo dont screw up this week and the Brigade fractures.

No spoiler needed for this: Jason is correct. The Diamond Power of Veto only allows the holder to remove one person from the block, but the holder also gets to name the replacement (which is usually up to the HOH when the normal POV is used).

The only person I know for sure who can't be named as a replacement is obviously the current HOH. What I'm not sure about and what's interesting is: Can the DPOV holder take someone off the block and replace them with the normal POV winner who by that point has already either used or not used their veto!?

The DPOV will be played when the two nominees are given their last chance to speak before the voting---

If Matt does recognize how the Brigade is all ready to move on without him (which they are showing) then his smartest move would in fact be to put Hayden or Enzo up against Lane and after the vote let the other houseguests (Ragan, Kathy, Britney, and Brenden) know about the secret alliance so that the remaining two can be the targets... If he's as smart as he keeps claiming to be.

I hope you're right. That moment would go down as one of the best double-double-crosses ever in BB history. The Brigade is unfortunately making one of the biggest mistakes you can in this game - when you make an alliance, you stick with it to the end.

The reason they don't trust Matt has a lot to do with his uninspired lie about the Pandora's Box reward. But once he uses the DPOV, he can tell his alliance-mates that he had no choice but to lie - that BB would take away the DPOV had he spilled the beans. So, this might not be the end of the Brigade after all, but could even strengthen the alliance for the endgame.

Matt and Lane have discussed the option of forming an alliance with Britney and Ragan, and cutting Enzo and Hayden loose. If Hayden and Enzo decide to tell Matt he's going home on Thursday (and all evidence indicates that they will), then his best bet would be to use the DPOV and put up either Hayden or Enzo immediately, then voting them out.

Man, if either Kathy or Britney goes home Thursday, this show's going to become a total sausage-fest.

Yeah he really took it hard to Rachel. But she did deserve what she got. It's funny watching people argue like that. They literally revert back to childhood. I bet they both will be embarrased when they watch that.

I cannot wait for tonight. When Matt uses that veto I do believe he will have lost what little trust was left between he and the Brigade.

I think Ragan was just too much for Rachel. She seriously had NO idea what to say back. I hated seeing that it was such a mismatch but it was nice for someone to knock Rachel down a few pegs.

I think the Brigade will understand. Matt's been dropping some big hints, and he's not allowed to tell anyone about the power correct? I'm sure in hindsight they'll be 'OH, THAT'S why you did/said that...'.

Tonight will no doubt be the best episode thus far.

And I have to say, it's cool to watch the BBAD in Canada now. Sure I fast forward through most of it... but some bits are interesting. Last night between Hayden destroying some pool cues and Britney doing a back flip off the hammock I had a few chuckles.

My favorite cast member out of them all so far has been Howie aka "Hurrican Howie". That guy made me laugh so hard.
