The good part is, going into this role, his whole career is riding on it. It's like the whole world is saying to him, "You **** this up, you're done." He's entered into a whole new level of ****. If that makes him stressed, or puts him on edge, that's only going to add to his performance and make him a better Batman.

I was initially really just confused/sad/mad and all I kept saying was "really?" But the more I thought about it, the more I think he might be able to do it. Ben Affleck gets a bad rep because of some poor movies and some questionable acting but I also feel like it's cool or popular to hate Ben Affleck. I don't think he's the best choice but we could at least give him a shot. Also, it's not like this is going to be the last Batman we'll ever see in the movies, so I don't see why there's such a commotion over this.
