I'm going to guess it's some other item, they wouldn't have sent out 3-5 day notices the same day they could ship.
pix, are you going to set bespin/dagobah luke up in a scene/diaroma type pose with the hurricane made luke-vader helmet? im thinking a slightly lit shadow box type display with creepy dark cave like features would be off the scale for luke & the head from a most excellent commission. it wouldnt really have to be all that big to pull off an extraordinary display.
found this, may be useful to print off to display a figure in front of perhaps ? ( I do have a larger version )
Dude I wish I could make such fantastic little display units as you do. Your stuff always looks good because they always get displayed on those awesome shelves you make!
thats exactly what i was thinking about, i forgot all about your awesome displays. but i think a box like that with some swampy stuff, vines hanging and a dark look to it would look outstanding.
How so Josh? These aren't even supposed to be in house until Wednesday at the earliest if the notice is accurate...
Is it a John Wayne PF? $13 for shipping seems steep...
$63 shipped for a $50 figure? Is that typical?
Thats true... oh well.. it'll come soon enough.... but not soon enough actually.. I want it now!

It probably is my John Wayne figure that I bought for my Dad. Its on my SDCC order and it could only be two things and I haven't checked the CC statement to see which figure it is.
yeah i was charged for the John Wayne figure and it shipped so it's probably that one.
Thanks Capn'!
I'm all for building either a Dagobah swamp shadowbox diorama and a cave diorama with Hurricane's custom Darth Luke head. I think both have tremendous potential.
Maybe paulcarson or someone else can find a nice picture or screen grab of the Dagobah swamp and cave that would work for a background on both displays. Add a terrarium tree and moss, maybe a dim LED for lighting and with a backdrop you've got a cool swamp. The 3D portion of the cave might be a bit more difficult though.
Any thoughts on this guys?
