WHAT!!! R u referring to Quaritch!?? Ur right...he kinda was a bigot actually!!:lol Well....i rather see a bigot deal with 10 feet blue aliens than Mexicans?! That sounds like a total snooze fest.:google

He wasn't dealing with Mexicans in Gran Torino. They were Hmong.

Those had to be two of the most disappointing films of the year for me, especially Public Enemies. I love everybody involved in that film and I was just bored.

That's funny you say that because it exceeded my expectations. I thought it was going to be boring and ended up loving it. :lol

I usually love Michael Mann's movies. Something just seemed like it was missing in this movie. It just didn't click with me at all. I think it had to do with no 10ft tall blue aliens.

I feel the same way about Terminator Salvation....if it wasn't for me getting horny every time Bale and Worthington where on screen....i would have gone to sleep.

Exactly!! Maybe he'll get the point for the next time! :monkey1

I fell a sleep half way through Public Enemies, it was a bit boring but, i will give it a try again soon.I thought Bale's accent seemed too forced and not natural.

I had really high expectations with Public Enemies what with being directed by Mann, and having an all-star cast but it really was mundane. The only thing I really liked was the cabin shootout,

I wouldn't rank T:S at the top of my list, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting; mediocre entertainment with a phenomenal audio track.
