Bale. Almost by default.

Keaton was miscast ... he did fine, and is certainly watchable, but somebody else could've done better with the same script. Keaton was saved by the script and director. Kilmer was actually better than Keaton ... with a worse script. Clooney was terrible. West was literally a joke.

Conroy has a good voice. So does Michael Ironside. They'd both look ridiculous in the batsuit, though.

Surely you can't be serious.

Christian Bale by far. Though I love Keaton's Batman/ Bruce Wayne as well.

Wanna bet?

With a couple of exceptions, I liked Bale's voice just fine. Even if I didn't ... Bale was better with a bad voice than anybody else was with a good one.

If you're bringing every Batman into the mix, you can't possible say that Bale has a better one than Conroy.

Yes I can.

Conroy has voiced two great versions of Batman ... but he's just the voice. He's a much smaller part of the portrayal than an actual actor. He's more celebrated because of Bruce Timm and the Arkham developers than for anything he did. Put his voice in Super Friends, and he's just another forgotten voice actor ... put him in Timm's series, and he's a fanboy dream.

It's sad how little DC's live action material has lived up to its animated material.

It's unequivocally the definitive Batman.

Yes I can.

First of all, Conroy is just a voice. He's more celebrated because of Bruce Timm and the Arkham developers than for anything he did. Those are great versions of Batman ... but, he's a much smaller part of the portrayal than Bale, Keaton, Kilmer, West or Clooney.

Put his voice in Super Friends, and he's just another voice actor.

You're delusional.
