Best Iron Man figure to get?

Sorry to start a new thread about this but I'm just after some advice.

I've got enough in the paypal account for one more Hot Toys purchase before Christmas and since I have none of the Iron Man lines I'm looking to get started.

My question is simple: Which is the best one to get, PO mark IV or VI, Whiplash, War Machine...

Battle Damaged Mark III. Best representation of the most iconic suit with the most display options and hidden gadgets. He's easily my favorite of the Iron Man figures.

EDIT: Your post edit now inquires about the IM 2 figs specifically. In which case, I have no idea. Can't judge them until they're released.

I'd go with the Mark VI I think overall. Though honestly I think they're all pretty damn cool.

A fully battle damaged and a partially battle damaged look as well as interchangeable face plates and a sweet paint job. But if you don't like the triangle arc reactor that maybe a deal breaker.

Mark VI gets my vote as well....it has the most stuff....hopefully I'll be able to get it when it comes out

The mark III is looking to expensive on ebay right now. I'm not really a fan of the triangle arc reactor so I'm swaying more towards the mark IV, although the mark VI has some very good specs.

I'm in the same boat, except I'm overspending to get both WM and MkIV.

Not getting MkVI because I prefer the circular arc reactor.

Passed on a cheap MkIII only last week because MkIV seems to be the same version but with better HS, articulation and proportions.

Never considered the MkIII BD because I wanted the pristine armour over the BD armour.

I have the battle damage which i love. Depends wot your after and no ones mentioned it but i love the mk1.

Mark V1 is the best for me and this is why,


Almost identical to mark III... slight details changes and yeah it's from a crappy movie, but it's so close to the look from Iron Man 1 and so much better a figure it's worth it to me. The proportions are so much more natural the RDJ head still looks bad but its better than the MIII one

I sold off my Mark 3 so i could buy Mark 4

i may buy mark 6 too actuually because i think the mattle damage looks pretty cool...

IM2 was so bad I've avoided anything from it but these two. at the end of the day my IM collection will consist of Mark 4, Mach Test Tony, Mark 1, Bashed Obidiah Stane, Bashed Tony Stark in suit now with the M4 HS and possibly Mark 6. Pretty solid grouping if you ask me and all you really need to celebrate Iron Man and forget IM2 ever existed.
