Ok, the $tar War$ area has its own inclusive best/worst poll but, there are [or at least were] a lot of other 1:6 lines first. I've listed 10 because, well, that's the most allowed. If I've forgotten or omitted yours its only because these came to mind first.
So, considering sculpts, outfits, accessories, etc... what line was the best overall and/or would you like to see more from?

Sorry, Occulum, not being a big LOTR fan that line didn't occur to me before all the rest, and, as I stated the polls only allow for 10 choices max.

tHE NEW LINE HORROR IS MY FAVORITE,BUT UNIVERSAL WAS THE BEST OVERALL I THINK...THERE ARE SOME REAL GEMS IN THE SERIE.HELLBOY WAS A GREAT LINE ALSO.

Agree 100%. My fav is the New Line Horror, but Universal was just about perfect. And Hellboy,IMO, is perhaps the most underated of SS 1:6 lines. For that I put a vote in for Hellboy.

yeah I understand.

didnt need it to vote anyway. :mummy

Gotta go with Universal Monsters... they've had a great run with them and I hope that before its said and done we get a few more. I think Apes and Modern would be right up and both need some more entries before sideshow erases them from memory :lol

I had to vote Universal Monsters. They are what got me hooked on Sideshow so I can't vote for anything else. That line is/was awesome. I just hope it continues with something at Toy Fair.

Universal Monsters. I've been a big fan for years.

Are you sure? Perhaps its just your programing telling you that you have been a fan for years? :D

Sorry, I just watched Blade Runner for the first time on Monday in one of my Film Classes. I couldn't resist. Suddenly your avatar, custom title, and signature all make perfect sense :lol

Hmmm, that would make sense. :lol

What did you think of BR?

I was pleasantly surprised that I voted in the majority here (voted before I read the thread). Universal Monsters - HANDS DOWN - has my vote. :mummy

Well, since LOTR isn't included I can't vote.

Ditto, the recent Legolas was quite exceptional due to all the required detail. Hopefully, they flesh out the line a bit more.

12" figures just aren't my focus.

I had complete sets of Sideshow's X-Files and Monty Python figures. (It's a shame that Monty Python wasn't included in the poll, as it was a really great line.)

Now they are gone--sold off to fund Star Wars--and the only Sideshow 12" figures I currently own are from the SW line. I cancelled all of my LOTR 12" preorders when I decided to go with the PF line instead.

Anyway, my vote went to none of the above--to the Universal monsters, actually.

Their Monsters are top notch. The very early ones could use some repaints, but there are some very nice one. I don't see any company putting out a better Bride of Frankenstein Monster. His sculpt and paint are FLAWLESS PERFECTION.

I like the Buffy line and collect a lot of it, but I think the Universal Monsters line was better executed, so I voted UM.
