I have the following PS3 game:

-Resistance: Fall of Man
-Spider-man 3
-Motorstorm
-The Darkness
-Dynasty Warriors: Gundam (I love Koei's DW series games ever since DW3)

There has YET to be a real stand out game that I am extremely impressed with. Resistance is pretty good...but honestly...I am SICK of WW2 shooters, they really need to get over that genre because the market has been flooded with WW2 shooters ever since Medal of Honor lost steam and Call of Duty picked up the WW2 trophy.

I am awaiting to see how Heavenly Sword will be, there is some positive buzz around that game...and I am certainly looking forward to Assassin's Creed. But perhaps the "BIG" game for the PS3 will be MGS4...the delays are probably to perfect because the PS3 is desperately in need of a killer game. The X-Box 360 is steamrolling over their competition with their game library.

Have any of you picked up Warhawk, or Lair yet? Tekken online is now available for download from the PSN as of yesterday

Well, I finally ordered a PS3 and have been researching games. Out of the very few good ones out I will be getting God of War 2 because the first one kicked major ass and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. :D

lol, sigma looks really cool but i avoided it coz everyone says its ridiculously difficult.

I have to say it is without a doubt one of the most difficult games I have ever played.

Its fun, it looks SPECTACULAR, but ****!!!! Its to damn hard.

hmmm. I don't really like hard games. They make me so pissed off that I forget why I even play games in the first place...to relax.

I usually play on normal mode, not easy so I can handle a bit of difficulty but if I am going to be dying every ten seconds I can forget that mess. :monkey4:lol

I have to be even pickier about games than most people because I get dizzy or motion sick more easily than others. This is why most to all First person shooters are out of the question but God of War type games I can handle.

Hmmm. We need more games for the PS3 ASAP! I really bought it mostly for the Blu Ray player though to be honest. :lol

Same here. I'm not that gamer how must conquer everything in the most difficult settings. I like to sit back and relax.

A fair level of difficulty if good, I never play games on easy. But this Ninja Gaiden is freakin killing me,:lol

To bad about shooters making you all sick and ****, Resistance is and awesome game.

I know! Every awesome game out right now is a shooter. Bioshock, Resistance...and I can't play any of them. :monkey2:lol

I can do it for a few minutes but then I start to feel sick. I think it's the speed of the camera that does it. I try to move more slowly but then I get my ass owned. :lol

One of my best friends has the same problem. I've heard ginger pills can help with the motion sickness caused when playing FPS's.

Thanks for the tip- I will have to try that. I really want to be able to play them but it's been an impossibility for a while now. Halo 3 is coming out and it would be nice to play with my fellow freaks. :)

Have you tried playing with your eyes closed???

Maybe that will help.

The result would be the same...I die every time. :lol:lol

But check this out, there may be some truth to the ginger pill thing.

Seasickness: Kill or Cure

The MythBusters tested various seasickness cures. They wanted to see if any non-pharmaceutical, no-side-effect remedy would work.

Motion sickness is caused by your brain being unable to process conflicting signals from your sense: your eyes tell you that your surroundings are still, but your inner ear and your fine muscle controls are telling you that things are moving.
Test setup

They built a chair modeled after NASA's seasick chair. The chair spun around at 7 rpm while the person in the chair was ordered to move their head to touch tennis balls positioned in front, behind, and to the sides.
Finding the test subject

They had to figure out who in the MythBusters crew was susceptible to seasickness. Adam was a sure bet because of previous seasickness during the Jaws Special. Sure enough, Adam got quesy within 3 and half minutes on the chair. After a half an hour in the chair, Jamie was still fine. Kari and Tory were both fine as well. Grant became the final test subject. He lasted longer than Adam, but he got sick as well.
Remedy Testing

* Homoepathic tongue tingler. They used a unnamed spray that you squirt under the tongue as often as needed. Grant was sick within 10 minutes and vomited some small chunks. Adam was sick within 4 minutes.
* Wrist straps:They wore little gray wristbands that are 'Barry Manilow's choice.' Adam was sick within 90 seconds. Grant got sick as well. They've gotten pretty quick with bringing a bucket to Grant.
* *Ginger pills: It worked! Adam and Grant were both fine.
* Small shocks on the P6 Accupunture point (on the wrist): Both Adam and Grant got sick.
* Placebo: They told Grant and Adam they were getting an over-the-counter pharmaceutical remedy, but they actually gave them vitamins. Adam's reponse: "I hate this [bleeping] chair" after three and a half minutes. Grant: "This is among the most effective, if not the most effective."
* Over-the-counter pharmaceutical drug: Worked on Adam and Grant, but it made them both a little loopy.

Only thing that worked without any side effects was the ginger pill.

Ginger pills: plausible

Sounds promising. :D

I googled ginger pills and this came up.Not sure how that is relevant, but I thought I would share.
