Most of what causes motion sickness is when you take away "vision" from any stable peripheral objects. Your inner ear is constantly sending false messages to your brain, but with vision, your eyes are what keeps things in check and tells your brain "no dont listen to the inner ear".
Thus I find it interesting that you get motion sickness even from being on a stable platform and watching a moving tv screen. essentially your inner ear is stable, but your eyes are what is causing you to get sick. interesting.
