I liked the Rocky/Clydesdale one as well as the Pepsi Max with Chris Katan. Oh and the Thriller Sobe water one was cute. Although animated lizards are getting a bit overused.

I thought the Rocky commercial and Night at the Roxbury ones were great, the Sobe one played out a bit too long.

Especially the last bit about the Bears going back to the Super Bowl.

I liked the Coke add with the Stewie & Underdog floats fighting over the Coke bottle float, then the Charlie Brown float winds up with it.

I saw the Richard Simmons one. My bud got the Superbowl US feed, so I got to see all the cool commercials. Anyway I believe the one Simmons was in was to sell tires or something along those lines. A deer was shown at first, guy breaks and swerves away (show how great the traction is), then Alice Cooper follows, same thing. Driver has great control and maneuvers around Mr. Cooper with ease. Enter Richard Simmons finally coming into view down the middle of the darkened highway, driver speeds up and puts the pedal to the metal.. just as you think he's about the run over the fruity tooty fluffmiester he maneuvers around him... missing him completely. That part made me sad.

Best commercial was the tire commercial during the first quarter with the screaming animals. That frickin cricket screaming was HILARIOUS!

I'm sorry to say the second best was Will Ferrell's Bud Light (I still hate him). "Suck on one". Simply hilarious.

I thought this year was pretty good, I mean it could have been worse. Remember the commercials during the Super Bowl in 2000 were it was all the Dot Coms doing commercials? The commercials that year taught us 3 things:

1 - Dot Com companies have no real product to sell

2 - Dot Com companies do not know how to make a good commercial

3 - Dot Com companies have no sense of humor


This year there was that awesome Iron Man trailer, the SoBe commercial with Naomi Campbell doing Thriller with some pretty funny Salamanders, that nice little bit of eye-candy called Victoria's Secret, the Godfather inspired Audi commercial, the tire commercial with Alice Cooper and Richard Simmons, the Justin Timberlake Pepsi commercial. That's all I can remember so far but it was not bad. I really miss the Bud Bowl but it could come back eventually.

Oh, my vote for best commercial goes to Iron Man, I cannot wait for that movie to come out.

This year I would go with Iron Man and the Bud Rocky spoof. But the best of all time is still the Terry Tate office linebacker ads.

I forgot about the Audi spoof of the Godfather with the guy who played Moe Green in Godfather II playing the hollywood producer with the car bumper in his bed. Hilarious.
