I am comparing how dated Spiderman is to Nolan's batman will be in the future.
He is saying people won't be able to connect with the theme but I think that is the real patronizing part because people will connect with the character of Bruce Wayne no matter what year is.

I don't see why you took so offense to that. . I didn't say it's a bad thing. It's just a thing. Star Wars can be enjoyed by anyone, any age, the themes are so basic, any human can get. TDK..cannot. A 6 year old will not enjoy TDK.

I love Batman more than any fictional character, but Star Wars is on another level of entertainment. It is above film as even a medium. The richness of the universe, the story of good versus evil on an almost timeless level. It takes struggles of people existing in a far off time and galaxy and manages to mirror the struggles of almost anybody who tries to be a good person.

I pick Star Wars. It was and is my version of the bible. Doesn't make me love Nolan's version of Batman any less. It is my favorite version of the character on screen and Begins is my go to film for whenever I need a pick-me-up.
