Correction, just because they joined here on this site before you doesn't make them any more senior of a collector then you. I've probably been collecting longer than some of these "senior" members on this board, and probably older than most of them too. They may be more experienced at navigating these boards here at sideshowfreaks, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are more senior then you at collecting. When I joined onesixthwarrior back in 2006, I didn't consider myself more senior then some that joined in 2008 or later because some were older than me and were collecting way longer than me. So "when" you joined a particular forum or site does not, in any way, shape or form, dictate how experienced you are as a collector.
Just don't mind the grumpier members that have been here longer than you. Some of them are a little insecure with themselves so they have to tease and put down others to make themselves feel good. Or maybe they were bullied when they were younger, and just want to take it out on you. If you let them get to you, then they've already won. Just ignore the seniors who haven't had their diapers changed in a while, cuz deep deep down, they still love you.
Not all the senior members here are jerks. Most are very cool. It's just the few bad apples that tend to taint it for everybody. And don't worry, you should get your money back.
