Nice! I don't know what it is, maybe growing up with Star Wars and the multitude of characters Lucas would pack into the backgrounds and myself always trying to get a better peek at them, but 1/6 BG characters and droids usually catch my attention more than the heroes do.

Again, I really appreciate the inspiration I receive from you all.

I painted some smaller versions to try to get in some more practice.

Some of this didn’t turn out exactly the way I wanted. I wound up stripping the paint off and trying several more times.

What’s the painting issue you’re having? Looks like you’re doing great!

I was almost satisfied with the paint on the Zero droid. Then when I sprayed the final Testors dullcote, I think it fogged. After the hurricane hit us, it has been extremely humid here in Texas. I wonder if that’s what caused it to fog twice.
