So hows the weather out there Tom? :monkey3 :D

GREAT PIX, TOM! I love the height on Bib over Maul.

I just got mine as well. The light is going fast so "the special kitchen pix" may have to wait until tomorrow, but here's a quick couple close-ups...

And a quick one of him right out of the box:

You can kind of see how there are two different types of color used to make his robe. I can only assume that this is accurate and not because they ran out of material.

Quick thoughts: Love this figure!!!

He's got a great sculpt. Also, surprisingly, there's a lot of movement around the neck -- I can even get mine to angle his head to the side, quizically.

He looks to be very tall, as he's supposed to be. I personally have a issue with one leg being longer than another, but until I futz with him I won't know what's going on under there. He comes complete with pants and great "wrinkly" boots.

He's definitely a figure that will need some severe futzing, as the robe is complicated to hang just right. But when done, he'll look awesome.

He's just such a unique character, he'll look great with or without Jabba and the gang. Plus the teal blue really pops as you can see in Tom's pictures.

My Bib's head just won't adjust at all. It's straight ahead for him, but that's OK. The arm bands seem a little big and won't hold a position because of that. But those are just minor complaints when he is overall a great figure. The outfit is really well done and the accessories are a lot of fun this time. He has me looking forward to the whole throne room display next year.

Right now he's going to be lonely, but it's nice to get the first "Scum and Villainy" figure out of the box.

Ah the special Kitchen Pic! Made my night. He is indeed looking good. I can't wait until wednesday. Now I just have to figure out where the hell I'm going to put him. I am really going to be in trouble when I get Jabba.

I did notice the potential problem with the arm bands and the "short" sleeves, but I think I can stretch the sleeve far enough down to tuck it into the arm band, which would hold everything in place quite nicely.

Even more special ones to come... :D

Love him. I added a quick 2-cent review to my photos above.

Does his head have a semi-glossiness to it like pictures make it seem or is that just how the lighting comes off, cuz I know some Maul shots made him seem glossy and when I got mine I was surprised (happily) at how matte he was, but Bib was somewhat shiny at times in the film, probably cuz of the prosthetic material, but I'd like a little shine to him.

There is "a bit" of shine to him. He's pretty close to the pictures I posted in close-up. More or less as glossy as Kit Fisto. With mine, there's a bit more of a shine on the lekhu than the face...the face looks a bit more matte than the "glossy" Bib in the movie. If you were so inclined, I'm sure a light spray of gloss would help.

Thanks, I'm going to leave my Maul as the only figure I tweak, and I only did that because a little more black on the lips is fairly subtle and I had seen that it came out fine on another poster's figure, Bib will be what he is and appreciated as such, I just get curious because camera flash tends to change the finish quality on these faces, SSC's web pics of production Obi-Wan had a glossiness to him that just wasn't there on the real figure, but even some of my photos have come out with a glossy look. Thanks for the info.

Maulfan: If it helps, I didn't use a flash in the close-up pictures I took. Natural light, just held the camera steady.

Is there a sheath or anything like that to put his knife (like on his belt)?

I'll show you where he keeps his knife in my "special kitchen pix" tomorrow. :D

Tom, I love that first photo. It's like he stepped right out of the movie (except for the staff).

WG- I can't wait for more kitchen pics. :chew

I'll get on it tomorrow. The light's gone here now. I'm eager to get to futzing his costume; water treatment and all that. I'll post my usual recounting of my "futz" methods with full pictures....although I think all people really want from me is those crazy kitchen pictures.

Oh well, one must know his place in the world. :D

I think your kitchen, Tom's swing set and Josh's doily have become tradition with the Freaks family. It's something we all look forward to. But I also look forward to seeing your figures after you've futzed with them... It really shows the figures at their best. I wish I had the patience to make mine look as good as yours do.

Thanks, Batty! That was a very kind compliment... :monkey2... I need a moment...

OK, here's 2 more quick close-ups just to take a look at Bib's awesome face. My cherry wood table has given him a red glow, but the shadows work well to show off his features.

This sculpt is another home-run!
