Honestly, my favorite show on TV bar none. Addicted is an understatement. Temporarily stopped collecting Hot Toys/SSC (pretty much due to space concerns) and have been collecting BBT swag including the bobbleheads, a couple standees of Penny and Sheldon (on clearance), and the Cryptozoic trading cards (which have become insanely priced on fleabay). Plus I've been downloading episodes like crazy on my Kindle Fire.

I absolutely love the show. It's one of those rare sitcoms thats not only well written and very entertaining, but appeals to the nerd in all of us. Plus it's pretty cool seeing the Sideshow stuff in Stuarts comic shop and in Leonard/Sheldon's apartment as well as in Howards room (SSC Princess Leia PF :)).

How bout this episode BG:

"Ok, All I'm giving you is the napkin, Sheldon."

I just got into watching Big Bang not too long ago. I'm addicted. Picked up the first 3 seasons so that I could watch at my leisure but I still watch every repeat episode on tv, daily.

My favorite episode/scene is the Christmas one where Penny gives Sheldon the napkin.

I do also enjoy this scene:

It's a great show for some of us nerds. I need to get some swag, I plan on getting a Bazinga shirt, the penny penny penny shirt, a pillow and a key chain.

ThinkGeek is a great place to mine for TBBT swag. My wife has a ton of the Soft Kitty items :lol

I love this show. Love it. Easily my most popular show on broadcast TV. I catch all the reruns on TBS as well as the current season on Thursday nights. A rare combination of a great ensemble cast and really good writing.

Dude is this the only big bang theory thread??? Where the **** is the love?? And you call yourself geeks, you should be ashamed. This show is ****ing hilarious.

a lot of geeks hate the show, like really hate the show.

some nerds even said it was like "Nerd blackface"
(the show relies on lazy humor. It has references for their own sake, not as part of a well-constructed joke, or even to evoke a feeling of nostalgia and inclusion over a shared memory. The references just come across as pandering.)

I love this show. Like anything popular some hate it because hating something popular is cool.

not everybody. actual nerds get pissed off because this likes to joke on typical stereotypes and dumb jokes for laughs.

I've also read that making "nerd" mainstream only makes ignorant people want to be nerds because is cool now. Or so I've read.

Let them get mad then. Nothing on that show is done to be mean so they need to grow up a bit.
