Yes. It will show as processing until it is ready to ship. So that is perfectly normal.

Bingo. Thanks much. I've been a bit itchy on the subject, wanted to make sure I had my figure secured. Any idea on when these are gonna ship? I saw some stuff floating around indicating Q1 2015.

This is my first foray into 1/6 scale collecting, so I wanna do it right. :lol

Edit:

I want to drop in here and ask a question for the veteran BCS buyers in the US. Shipping from BCS to US, what am I looking at, in total for 11 here after taxes, licenses, and fees are applied to my total? I know what I'm paying for the figure alone, but I don't know much more beyond that. Will I have a variety of shipping options when time comes etc? Import fees?

I have never ordered from them, if I get on board in Dec. it will be my first too, VATS I think its called are like the import fees, but because it is shipping from the UK and not america expect high shipping rates, thats normal. That has to do with BCS losing their International license to sell, bad thing is we have to pay a steep price for UK shipping because of it :( can't avoid it :( hope this helps a little, also heard this is shipping by April maybe I read somewhere on here???

I don't know if it's true, but around February next year was the 'hoped for' shipping date that I heard. Though in this hobby it's always best to expect delays, no matter what official month (or even quarter) is given...

With further companions 1/6th figures off the table for Big Chief. I wondered if they would just offer sculpted heads instead? Then collectors could customize their own companions?

VATS is only applicable for UK residents. We are not obliged to cover it in the US.

I think that's the nature of any type of collecting, it's all tentative. How has your experience been with previous purchases from big chief regarding Shipping and Import fees?

When did they say companions were off the table? I missed that.

BCS shipping from UK to the US was very reasonable and extremely fast in the past. They must have a really good deal with FedEx. I think I paid between $17-20.

Mine's been about $30/figure. Not bad for one-day shipping!

Shipping from BCS to the USA is £22 which is about $35 at the current exchange rate. US buyers don't pay VAT or import duty or any other extra fees so the total cost of figure + shipping is exactly what it says on the order page. Converted to USD the total cost should equal about $275 (depending on the exchange rate when the order goes in). I just got my 4th Doctor today and while took more than a week to get the payment sorted out, once BCS had my money, it took literally ONE DAY for the package to reach me in the US since they ship Fedex International Priority which is faster even than Amazon prime.

Ah piss. I'm gonna have to email again. I ordered within 10 minutes of it going up on the 30th. I'm comfortable in the assumption I should have him by now.

Got Handles. Beautiful thing to see in your account.
