I haven't had an email from DHL but when I checked the emails Big Chief sent me on Friday the links took me to tracking info - showing that 2 out of my 3 figures have shipped and are due to be delivered before the of tomorrow.:yess:

Also, Greggo posted a photo of the figure on the BCS FB page and it looks great.

Got it wrong, it was on Jon's group - I'm posting it here so people don't have to go there (no offence Jon, but your group has gone to hell recently):

Cool. I never received any emails from BC at all. I had the postage paid Friday after the advice from here that it was available to do so. Still, confident on getting this figure whilst I'm here in the UK. And thanks for the pic data update; I couldn't find it on the BC FB page. Haha!

How can I update my credit card info on their site? I don't see where I can do that.

After you sign into you account, select the order you want to apply a payment to, then depending on the status of your order, you should be able to select either "Pay Installment" or "Make Balance Payment". Once you make your selection you should have some payment options to select from.

Really, man? All because of one guy? I don't understand why people can't just ignore one guy if he's bothering you. There's so many fun people posting cool stuff on there. I don't see why people let one person (even if they post a lot) ruin their experience.

Jon's group is the bomb. There are so many awesome people on the BCS Fans Page...I look forward to chatting there regularly, as I know do many fans that post here as well. Even if I've said it before I'll say it again...Jon is terrific and his site is one of the best places for fans to chat. :love

Thanks so much. I thought it was going to bill the card I had on file and didn't have any funds on it. lol Thanks.

Glad to see this is now shipping. I will be putting my order in next week, hopefully.

Yeah, sorry Jon, I always enjoy your posts and I know you're a decent guy but I haven't visited your group for weeks (a friend sent me the pic). That person you mentioned has come to completely dominate your group, and I don't find it fun any more; it's the aggressive questioning of anyone who doesn't agree with that person, the bullying of anyone who has anything remotely critical to say about BCS (no matter how measured or constructive), the clique that's built up around him due to their connection with BCS, the power they've acquired due to being the BCS mouthpiece, and worst of all the misogyny. It's soured me on BCS too to be honest; I'll always be fair to them and I'll always love what they do when they do it well, but if they can allow someone like that to speak for them than I'm not going to err on the side of being 'supportive' anymore but tell it exactly how I see it, good or bad.

Anyway, enough of that. It's too early to judge this figure from just one in-hand photo, but I certainly like what I see. In particular I think the coat looks nice; the Sherlock coat looked like it had been ruined at the factory, but this one looks like it will be great with a bit of futzing and maybe ironing (the Hartnell coat was excellent too). Looking forward to seeing how the paint job came out, the first Eleven figure looked like it had been painted with latte, hope this one is 'pinker' and more caucasian.

That's what I was going to do with the single Weeping Angels, and they sold out a couple of days after they came in stock! Maybe you've got weeks to order this, but if you can get it sooner, my advice would be to get it asap. Obviously you've got to eat too!

Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same position, though for different reasons. All my emails go to a dead email account that I haven't had proper access to/control over in about a year (and my account can't be fixed to forward to my current email address because...Hell, I did get a clear answer on why:gah:). Thankfully worldpay allows me to actually change my details without breaking my account (what a wonder that is :p), so I can keep updated on any of the important payment details, at least.

Anyway, long story short (too late) I'm very thankful and grateful to the regulars on this board that help keep me in the loop about all this kind of stuff, because I'd have no idea when shipping had to be paid and so on without them. :wave

Last week I logged into my BCS account and found I had nothing in it but an Amy head that I received last year (still described as processing). I eventually discovered that I had somehow set up two different accounts with them without realising!

Not that anyone asked, but I have to agree with pretty much every word of this. The person in question is the single, overwhelming, and pretty much only reason why I left the group as well, despite having enjoyed it over there in the past. I just find him to be that much of a poison pill. And I know of at least two friends of mine who have also done likewise, for similar reasons.

I really do think it's a damn shame that he's made reasoned and constructive discussion within that group all but impossible, or, if not actually impossible, usually just not worth the actual headache of bothering with, given the inevitable result that follows. Which may actually be worse, because it gives the illusion that everything is always perfect, and everyone is always happy with everything, and sycophancy never helps the quality and refinement of the creative process in the long run, for anybody.

Anyway, after I witnessed exactly that on one occasion too many, I decided it wasn't worth being there any longer, and quietly left. Last I saw there was only a handful of people who were actually still posting frequently, despite the considerable membership size, but maybe things have changed since I left. Ultimately I guess all I'm saying is there might be one rather obvious reason for why a wider variety of people don't post on a wider variety of subjects and feel free enough to give a wider range of honest opinions over there any longer, that's all. And to me, that's a real shame. Just my viewpoint, and not really my business anyhow. Best of luck with the place, and no offence intended in any way.

I agree with Ex-P and CB, but I never let anyone person dominate (or is it "minimize"?) my enjoyment of the internet. I still think Jon's group is tops regardless.

Sculpt looks great in that pic

I agree, their sculpts are usually great. A while back they posted shots of the head without the hair at the front, which is a separate piece that slots in; I would like to see them reuse this sculpt for a Season 5 release with floppy hair, like they reused the original Eleven sculpt for the stetson release. They could even make it take a fez if they use this head.

CB, PT, EP -

Well, I don't want to make this topic about a group somewhere else. I really don't see it that way at all, but I tend to focus on the stuff I enjoy (and there's actually quite a lot of people posting and having fun right now) and tune out the things I'm not really interested in. I tend to do that on most message boards I'm on. Life's too short to spend a lot of time on something that may irritate you. the charge of "misogyny" is most worrying and not something I've seen myself. If someone could PM me here or on Facebook I'd like to know the particulars of that.

I will say, at this moment, of the first 25 posts on the page, 14 different, unique posters are represented. And only 3 of the 25 posts are by the person in question. I can have a chat with said member (I'm already a bit uncomfortable talking about someone behind their back on another board) to see it can be improved. But, honestly, I think it's easy to get caught up in the drama sometimes, but I think people can overlook reality. Also, sometimes with communities of any kind there are ebbs and flows. Especially on a site like that during time when releases are scarce.

That being said, enough people have brought it up I'll look into it further, and I appreciate the feedback.

Warpsmith - thanks for the feedback. That's actually my general experience, too. We're near 500 members. Every group starts to strain as it gets larger. But I'm glad some people are still having fun with it.
