Unfortunately for me I had these exact same issues with the additional heads and with the Weeping Angel, so for me it seems to be a standard thing now. It's already starting to grow a bit wearying, really.

Honestly, at this point I'm not even sure if I'll pre-order the next release. I'll undoubtedly almost definitely still buy it, but why give them my money so far ahead of time, if that support and loyalty doesn't go both ways? Especially now that they have a US distribution deal in place again. I mean I have a ton of stuff already pre-ordered with them, so they have plenty of opportunity to win me back around and change my mind, but unless the next incentive is a must have I might take my future purchases via another route instead. Seriously considering it, anyway.

My final figure didn't arrive so I emailed them; they sorted it out but it does seem like they had a shipping problem. I'm really grateful to them for taking care of it but they could do with someone to talk to fans on their behalf and explain stuff like this (and apologise for it). No company ever suffered from apologising in a timely manner.

They need someone who isn't a fan, a friend or a collector btw.

Love the fact they sorted out the paint apps with this figure - the first BCS figure where the paint job is excellent, and the QC on the paint has been excellent too - no mismatched irises, not rubbed noses, no heavy stubble - just perfect (I'm basing this on my four examples of this figure, all of which are uniformly excellent).

I had a couple of minor quibbles with the outfit - I would have liked the shirt not to puff up so much, and using the other waistcoat would have helped (the other waistcoat seems to be the one on the packaging!). Matt Vernon's sue of the Blitzway waistcoat shows us how good this kind of waistcoat would look. The coat might have benefited from a wire as it flares out whereas the coat onscreen hangs down straight much of the time, a look that it's hard to get with this one. And of course the glue holding the magnets in place could have been stronger. But yeah, minor quibbles.

If they ever do a Series 5 Eleven :)pray:) I'd like to see the same face sculpt with hair that has more volume to it to match Matt's look in that series.

I very much agree, they need someone who knows and properly understands the various PR, online storefront, and shipping fulfilment intricacies of customer service on a business level, to really get everything running like a well oiled machine.

In other news, mine still hasn't arrived, but I find myself in the odd position of being reticent to contact them, as I don't really want to be seen as that guy who only ever contacts them to complain about something...

Hopefully it'll show up in the next few days, or else I won't have much other choice. At this point, with them forgetting to send some people's orders (which I find extremely bizarre) it seems all too possible that mine might not have even been sent yet, but hopefully that isn't actually the case.

There's gotta be something wrong there. Do you live in the middle of nowhere? I'm in Brisbane and got mine a week ago...and even then, you should have been given a tracking number. I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't even sent it.

I'm starting to have my suspicions of what might be going on here, which is related to another matter entirely, but I sincerely hope I'm wrong, otherwise it would be very petty move indeed (to say the least)...hopefully I'm just jumping at shadows.

I'll give it a few more days and say no more, but my patience is starting to wear a touch thin.

I know my delay is down to it missing me by a day, and having to be sent on. I'm seeing mine on Saturday hopefully. So you're not quite alone in not having this figure yet.

Whatever you're referring too I'm 100% certain nothing petty or vindictive has happened! I think it's important for people to say when something hasn't worked for them or when they think things can be improved but I absolutely completely believe they would never do anything petty - and moreover my experience with this last figure leads me to think there's been a shipping error with a bunch of figures including yours. But however frustrating that is I am 1000% certain it's a ****-up no more.

Given my ongoing adventures with them over the past couple of months, due to an issue of which I was not the cause of, and don't have any blame in (in fact it started by my trying to help them out on an error they themselves had somehow caused), and which is still lingering unresolved after 2 months and over a dozen emails (after which point I got frustrated with it all, and basically gave up, and haven't heard anything since), I'm sadly not sure of that at all any longer. Not even remotely. I sincerely wish I could say different.

I won't go any deeper into it in public, as I am perpetually trying to do the right thing by them, as unappreciated as that has felt at every step, and am not out to sling mud or damage their reputation any. Suffice to say though, that if I did reveal all of the whole sorry mess I found myself entangled in, I don't think any of it would reflect very well on them at all.

Hey, I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope the issue gets resolved somehow and turns out to be a misunderstanding.

Thanks! It's not really budging and I'm too much of a wuss to forcefully take it off so I guess he'll go unlit. :lol

Well, I've never had any issues with Big Chief, order wise or on social media, if thats what you're referring to but I've had shipping issues with this figure so I think it is a problem on their end and not anything personal. Mine said it was shipped but no tracking number was given. I waited a week and nothing arrived so I emailed them and they got back to me in a few days and shipped my figure which arrived yesterday but Handles wasn't included and there wasn't any damage to the plastic bag so it was likely just forgotten and not lost in transit. Another email sent and they're going to send a replacement so know that it isn't just you who has had problems, though their support has been helpful for me at least.

On the bright side the figure is amazing! It's easily their best Doctor yet, the face is Hot Toys quality, as far as I'm concerned so it shouldn't disappoint when it does finally arrive.

Honestly man, you sound way too nice, here at least ....
BCS get waaaaaay more slack than any other company all based on that they are apparently 'nice guys' and that 'well at least they are doing BBC licenses!'
Both those reasons are bu***hit IMO.

9 days after getting home... The package containing the 11th Doctor Mk2 arrived at my office.
Is this this the best offering from BC so far? Yes, it is. It's a fantastic release. Sculpts are really nice and has been stated, refrain from the stubble that should only ever have been given to the 10th Doctor.
Handles is a nice touch. Great detailing, with a light up feature that is almost invisible in photos (well, the ones I tried anyways).
I built a 12th figure around a Joker coat and hoody combo, but really really wanted the space suit figure, so I reverted back to that for a bit.

I popped the original 11 sculpt back on the space suit to create a fuller set of figures.

here is a view of the build. It's not brilliant but it's going to work until we get the new Capaldi in a couple of months.
