I have really enjoyed the first two episodes of this new series in a way I haven't enjoyed Doctor Who since 2007. I am really hoping BCS will produce Jodie's Police Box to go with her figure.

So far I’m enjoying Jodie’s portrayal of the Doctor, but I’m not 100% sold on the figure or launchpad yet. I like the idea of it, but not sure about having to set up a Worldpay account.

The BBC are putting a lot of spin on this new version...and it's definitely aimed at a younger audience but dear god those first episodes were awful and more akin to something you'd find on the CBBC channel.
Adding to that there's zero chemistry between any of the regulars and Whittaker just hasn't got the gravitas,eccentricities or any kind of natural quirkiness to make you believe that she's the same strange alien Timelord(sorry Time-LADY) of the pass fifty plus years....No this is a very pale imitation of a once great show..
Love the new theme arrangement though

I'm really liking Whittaker's performance and quirky energy, and have no problem seeing her as the Doctor, but the stories have definitely been pretty generic and uninspired so far. Which is what I was always most concerned about with Chibnall as showrunner.

I finally sat through the first two episodes.
Seriously felt (especially ep1) like these were rejected Sarah Jane Adventures stories. Definitely not good scripts at all. So I found the stories dull, uninspired and badly edited.
I found nothing to like about the team, gang, or whatever was decided upon. And worse if all, woman aside, I never felt in any of the two episodes that I was watching the Doctor.

I like the revision to the HS, but agree it needs the slight overbite. This might be my first Dr. Who figure...I like the actress and think she is doing an admirable job to the role as Dr. Who (based on the first 2 episodes...)

Personally, I am absolutely loving Jodie’s new take on the character and I have been watching the show since about 1966, apart from the Baker / McCoy years. Maybe it is because I was raised in Yorkshire? Maybe it is because I like the simplification of the stories rather than the recent ludicrously complex arcs? Maybe I just like the girl and find her a breath of fresh air? Who knows?????

This latest Rosa ep was the best one by far. And I really liked Whittaker in the pink shirt as well. Can't remember if BCS said they were going to include that alternate shirt with the figure or not.

I was definitely uneasy heading into this season because so much was going to change, the sonic, the Doctor, the TARDIS but I've loved it so far. I'm definitely ready to add her to my shelves.

The scarf would be fantastic, but if they do it I hope they can do an actual knit scarf like we've gotten with Newt Scamander and other 1/6 figures. I am excited to see the smiling portrait.

I keep hearing rumors it might be an incentive? But that's just rumors. So not sure if it's wishful thinking or what. I HOPE we do get it. If it's just a slight smile, I think it'd be my default easily.

The sculpt is pretty lifeless especially given how she is being portrayed but overall I like it. I really hope we get a scarf and a smiling portrait would really knock this one out.

Everything below the neck is fantastic. The head sculpt just seems too dead behind the eyes for me, and one that could be even worse with sloppy factory paint application. It's a no from me, but hopefully it does well for the sake of the line.

As far as I am aware there will be another, less serious sculpt in the incentive scheme.
