Well, we are not doing too badly out of them really. We talk in terms of a series of only 3 episodes per, but it's actually a series of three films. Not one runs under feature length. So on those terms, 6 films is pretty good indeed.

Yup they are essentially Telefilms... and 6 good ones... I wish the next series come out fast... waiting a whole year is painful to see the resolution of what happened after the Riechenbach Fall...

I would definitely be interested in it even though I would have preferred the Jeremy Brett or Basil Rathbone version.

The deerstalker would be a fun accessory even though Sherlock hated it in the series:

Well, when I spoke to Gregg, he said that he was not satisfied with his paint apps on Watson, and I suspect (what with these fellows being determined to get it right) that he will give Sherlock a glance over too before anything official gets put up.

But they do look good.

Tell me about it, the sculpts are SO DAMN GOOD... Im just hoping that by the time these guys are released the paint apps from Big Chief will go up higher by a significant bit.
I was thinking, what if Big Chief made a handpainted exclusive edition where each sculpt will be painted by Greggo himself, Id buy that in a second...

Smart idea, that! Would you prefer that to a Signature Edition...or...as well as...? :)

Even though Doctor Who and Sherlock are my 2 favourite shows out now, I wasn't sold on the 11th Doctor. However if this looks good I may have to get it...Cant wait for the first pics!

Let's hope they show something soon... and tell us how long we have to wait. Sherlock the show is all about waiting - eighteen months for a series of three! - it would be nice if the toys could be here quicker. Pretty please?

At the risk of talking to myself I thought I'd bump this just to make it clear to BC that Sherlock figures will be the first figures in years that I'll buy two of 'one to open and one to keep'. Now how about a shot of, oh I don't know, the Sherlock HS's left ear or something?

Call them what you want, but its still only about 5 hours worth of programming per year.

I wouldn't exactly call that impressive.

Frankly Sherlock is like a side project to Gatiss and all, done when they are not doing Dr. Who, plus Benedict and Martin have become bigger names than they were and are involved in some big projects which are taking up their time too... so ofcourse shooting and prepping the next episodes take time...

Quality over quantity, my friend. What impresses me is good writing, good acting and nice production values. I'm sure CBS's "Elementary" Will pump out 22 episodes per year. Not sure that'll make it an more impressive or better. :)

Anyway, I was previously not really up on this idea when someone suggested it, but I am warming to the idea. Depending on the final figures I'd probably get Sherlock and Watson, at least.

Sherlock and Watson will probably be the ONLY guys released I think... cause honestly the only really recurring member of the cast is Lestrade, Mycroft and Mrs. Hudson. Dunno how many will want figures of them...

Moriarty?
well With him being bumped off at the end of Series 2 dont think hes much of a recurring cast, specially because by the time the figures come out itll be series 3 I guess

Quality and Quantity aren't mutually exclusive qualities. There are plenty of quality tv shows that manage to turn out atleast 12-22 episodes a year.

Monk is still my favorite TV show and it's a great example of this.

I can go better than that, I can show you a photo of the whole Sherlock piece (Watson seems to have gone AWOL temporarily), posted by BCS themselves on Facebook a few days ago! I have highlighted the relevant section, but here it is...
