Rewatching Season 1 to prepare for this awesome reveal.
They're reading the original stories and novels too I hope. Id read the all the stories by the time I was 11 or so. Im glad our school system encouraged us to read classics from a young age and I think we had one of the cases (Silver Blaze probably) on our term evaluations when we were 12 or so...
Those who have read all the stories enjoy the series a LOT more, Im sure of that, because the references and homages are not lost on them...
Yeah, because I was a huge detective crime buff... I tried my hand at Agatha Christie ones but probably because of my age I didnt have the patience, and it took me another 2 years or so to start liking Agath Christie stuff.Wow, you read them all when you were 11? I think I only finish the first compilation (Adventures of Sherlock Holmes when I was that age).
Shame to say at 28, I still haven't finish them all (mainly because I never want it to end. I cannot imagine a world without Sherlock Holmes stories), I rather re-read stories again and again.
Very true about the reference. It is so much more enjoyable due to all the nods to the stories. One of my favourite is the Hounds of Baskerville, the lamp signal that Watson was trying to decipher. So funny!!!
