Bits and pieces, if you just look at the photos they've posted.

A mug for John? His cane is there too.
Sherlock has the violin but I doubt the chair will be included.
There'll no doubt be other, smaller pieces dotted about but at this point it's anyone's guess.

He has his magnifying device :yess:

Prices are crazy! I wanted The signature ones, but holy cow, as much as I want both, I want Sherlock the most, not sure if signature or regular.

I'm going to have to have the Sherlock figure, just because I love Sherlock and it looks okay - but I'll definitely get the cheapest possible version. That said, I'm not feeling the sculpt (or is it the paint job?) as any more than okay - certainly a fantastic likeness, but the expression is just too neutral for Sherlock, whose character is anything but neutral. The character is always interesting to look at on screen, but I don't find that with the figure.

I think is the paint, the wip looks more expressive some how

With exchange, the signature pair works out to over 700$ for me, so I think I'm out. After the fiasco with Amy, and the fact that we still do not have the alternate heads, I'm going to hold off investing more into BC products until we get another doctor out and on the shelf. I have 10 and 4 on order, If they come out well, and the Amy head looks good when we get it, I'll be happy to invest more in this line. I'd love to get Sherlock though.

$275 for each.

$525 for the pair with the discount ($25 off).

That's for the regular editions, not the signature editions.

Did you take out the VAT? Isn't that 20%? Outside the UK we don't have to pay VAT and all those prices include it, I believe.

The price is too steep for these for me without seeing the final product/in hand pictures, as well as waiting to see how the whole Amy Pond fiasco plays out....

These are more expensive than a HT figure, and I'm not convinced this company can put out that kind of quality.

These are a wait and see deal for me.

Even at these prices, I'm sure the Cumberbatch figure will sell. He seems to have a Tennant like following with the fangirls. That Watson figure though, I bet they'll be sitting on quite a few of those at the end of the day.

I'm just gonna get Sherlock, regular edition (it's gonna be insaaaaane trying for a signed one anyway). So damn pricy, and both Sherlock and the 10th Doctor will need repaints too... Ugh. I dunno. BC's prices are a bit high considering the quality of the figures.

Going by the photos so far released it's a no from me, as has been said just way to expensive. I think BCS has really droped the ball with thier pricing, I look at these figures and think 'Brother productions £100 to £120 max" as with brothers figures the outfits/accesories are good but the sculpts, paint apps and base bodys look passable at best, any company out there who wants £170 of my hard earned money has to to a hell of a lot better than this.

That's exactly what I thought, a few people will want both but many more people will only want Sherlock.

It's great that BCS have stepped up and made these so we have the chance to buy a Sherlock figure, but a lot of people think these are too expensive. It'll be interesting to see how they sell outside of the 1/6 community - will some Sherlock fans who have never even heard of Hot Toys snap them up, or will they think 'what?!?' when they see the price? I mean the Belstaff overcoat was a sell out at ten times the price, so it's possible they'll sell widely but I wonder if people will go for these or just think that's crazy money for a dolly.

I love the show, but have no interest in putting these guys in my collection. The Sherlock looks OK, but Watson!! Nah.
First impression was they looked like a couple of Mego's.

The sculpt is strong, though, so I'm hoping the figure can be redeemed through some new painting.

The sculpts are indeed beautiful. But I hate the idea of spending another $50-$100 (is that even the going rate for a good repaint nowadays?) on top of $220.

I'll wait to make my final decision til I see the full reveal, but I don't know if I can commit to the figure. However, I can see myself picking it up once they're out if I happen to find myself with some extra dough between other releases.

I'll try to snag the signature edition of Sherlock at least. Does anyone know if you have to pay in full or just a small deposit like with the 10th doc?

Harsh but true. My excitement about seeing these has been replaced by a much cooler evaluation. Watson is way too caricature-like, Holmes has got a shallow paint job that leaves him looking waxy and doll-like. Shame, when the clothes look pretty good and we know the sculpt is stellar. BC need to fire whoever did the paint jobs on these (greggo?) they're just not cutting it. Maybe they (the painter) have got a bad attitude and think this is acceptable at this pricepoint.

What's up with the red bits on the coat? The top one must be the red button hole, but what about the others? They aren't supposed to be there.

The coat is, overall, better than I expected, but then I have lowered my expectations. Still looks a bit chunky and the running shot makes it look narrow, but that might just be the way it is hanging. It also looks short but, again, difficult to tell from that running shot.

But, yes, lots of money. You can get the Hot Toys Batman and Robin set for £280 and, whilst they are quite light on the extras, they are absolutely perfect.

Anyway, I hope this does well for them. They need a break.

That really puts things in perspective...
