I'd actually be a little disappointed if it's black. One of the things I liked about the old Sideshow releases, was that Moore was in the white dinner jacket. It played nice against the rest of the bonds in black. But, I'd still get it....

I would be too, since its Midnight Blue.


Anyway, I totally get the color diversity of the shelf where too many black figures tends to blend together and look dull -- like Jedi Luke, Mad Max, Bond, Neo, Batman, Terminator, Vader, etc.

But I think as colorful as it is, that yellow ski outfit from TSWLM is a bit... loud. Besides, the tuxedo IS Bond's uniform... and no one wore a double-breasted tuxedo like Roger Moore.

I think double breasted was midnight blue ,not black. I like it.But , actually, even I love TSWLM more as other Moore movies, I don't like look of quiet older Moore...
I would like his head be painted younger, with no old scin pigments which already was in TWSLM )
But what I need for any customs of him- did head. Without it, or any new ,better sculpt- any outfit is useless fore me )

The DiD Moore is still readily available. And its a good sculpt with good paint (even Ray said so) so even the full price of the DiD figure is still less then you'd be paying for an unpainted sculpt and then having a good paintjob put on it.

I still have to get the DiD Moore figure myself. Kind of waiting to see if BCS LALD ever gets released soon and how that head comes out. But the DiD head looks like TSWLM Moore to me, because of the haircut.

As the incoming Bond news has nothing to do with BCS, I've floated the old, near-forgotten Bond 'originals' thread again. You should see what's coming shortly. Hope there's still room...

The thing you have to remember with DID is that their license is only for Roger Moore and not James Bond, so we won't get any other actors from them. Not officially anyway, they having already done an unofficial Craig and Brosnan.

More than a year between figures is way too long. I mean, given what's already been promoted, it will be 2023 before we get Spy Who Loved Me...

Man, its just a shame how poorly old-world Bond is selling.

I suppose in 2 years one will be able to get all 3 LALD figures for 2/3's the price as well... whenever those figures finally get released.

That deal would be perfect for LALD because I'd pay for Bond and Solitaire but don't want Samedi (unless he's free).

Indeed, but I fear the possibility is even bigger the Bond line is going to terminate sooner.

They already cancelled their upcoming gladiator figure.
