There are no buttons on my shirt cuffs. I'm afraid those promo pics were a lie, in all kinds of ways.Does anyone know if the Dr No Bond has buttons/links on his dress shirt wrist cuffs just like in the promo pictures.

That was odd alright, and he used a Browning to shoot Dent.Oddly enough, the gun used in Dr.No is actually a Walther PP, not a PPK as referenced in the dialogue. The PP has a slightly longer barrel.
Very nice!I think it turned out pretty good, and it's something a bit different for the Bond display

Rough guess would be painted BBKill or a recast thereof.Which 'old' custom head is that? Looks as good as the current BCS one.

Perhaps the recasting process actually helped the features...
It's either an original BBKILL or a re-cast. The ones that are now floating around on ebay look way inferior.Which 'old' custom head is that? Looks as good as the current BCS one.
No, i didn't know that. Mine is resin so it's an original...well half an original nowOh that's too bad -- so only the early recast was the good one? Oh well...
If its plastic and not resin then its a recast (I know you know that).
Sadly I think that's what happened.Maybe they just didn't care...
Is the Homburg from the BCS exclusive Connery figure?A publicity photo of Sean wearing the Homburg hat got me inspired to modify my old custom head sculpt...
After sawing off the top of the sculpt, i then made a cast of the inside of the hat using some Milliput.
The new hat plug is then aligned and glued into place. Now the hat can sit snug, but can also be removed.

Yes it is...that and the coat.Is the Homburg from the BCS exclusive Connery figure?
The hat shape and colour are pretty accurate. It's just the hat band that needed some sheen to it.the hat shape is wrong as well. The color really is not accurate at all, as you said.
It's actually very easy to get the resource materials, as the shop that made the very same hat still make and sell them to this day, Lock and Co hatter.. which is also based in UK. So they can actually visit the shop to ask more about the Bond hat to get the correct shape and color.. or online purchase the hat itself, at least.
